The list of free games for PlayStation Plus members for May 2023 is out. Again this month there are some games I want to try and one I have played before, Descenders. That one is really good so will be downloading it. You can read the official blog post > here. Then start downloading May 2, 2023.

About a week ago I seen something cool over at Printables.com, a Homer Simpson model. Which you can see > here. Well decided this will be my next project. As of typing this (April 24, 2023) have the head pieces printed. Want to get the bigger parts done first. Then I can load up the build plate with the small stuff. If I like how it turns out might print it again scaled up.
Have owned my Elegoo Neptune 2 for all most two years now. During this time have been using the version of Ultimaker Cura that came with it. I know there are other options out there and updates. But happy with out this works. The reason for talking about this I have been trying out support blocker feature. They call it Eraser in this software. It took me a bit of time to figure out but think I got the hang of it. Will find out for sure once I give the part a print.
That day of the week again, musical throwback Thursday. The pick this time is One by Three Dog Night. You might not know their name but I can guarantee you have heard many of their songs. While this is a cover version it still pretty much know as theirs. It is off their 1969 album Three Dog Night. You can give it a listen > here or below.
Will be able to get my motorcycle out soon. The weather this April (2023) hasn’t been very good. Still really cold and windy. So have my fingers cross this improves in May. The past few weeks the day time high was about 6. With one day going up to 14. Plan to get my plate sticker this coming week. All ready have charged the battery.
Back in 2021, Ubisoft’s The Division Heartland was announced. Well there is some new info out about the free to play game. Last week they had a Division day event. Talking about the mobile game, Division 2 updates and more info on Heartland. They put out a cinematic intro trailer. Which you can see > here. But more importantly they all so gave us a behind the scenes video that has some gameplay footage. You can see that > here or below. Thinking this game might be out this summer. Going to give it a try when it does.
A few posts back talked about getting a PC copy of No Man’s Sky. I have a Minisforum UM580 with an external hard drive. Downloaded and installed it to that, like all my other games. Know it will take longer to load but I like having lots of games installed. Booted up and was talking a long time to load. Even slower than the PS4 version. Then the computer crashed and shut off. Tried again and this time lower the frame rate for the game. This time it worked fine. The next day tired to play again and it crashed. So decided to move it to the M.2 drive. The load time was super fast and it didn’t crash. Which was nice.
Am still having fun playing New World. Played about every second day, for an hour or so. Have about 157 hours played. Took a break from working on the main story. Now just trying out other stuff in the game. Have level up a bit of the faction. Doing some crafting. At the time of typing this (April 18, 2023) they are running a special event. If you get a certain number a rabbits you unlock some good items. The one I am after is storage chest. Am hoping to get that before the event is over.

Have owed my copy of No Man’s Sky for the PS4 since the day it came out back in 2016. It is one of my all time favorites. Well have bought another copy of it for my mini PC. Have had it in my Steam wish list for a long time now. It was on sale for 50% off. They do that a lot when there is a big update out. So decided just to get it. This way during game nights we can play some four player coop locally.
Found another awesome thing I want to 3D print, a Riddler lamp. It is a box with a question mark sticking out of the top. In which you can put LED lights. You can see it > here over at thingiverse.com. Think it’s pretty cool. While I don’t think I would put lights in it. Still look cool sitting on the shelf.
