Happy New Year 2020

Yet another year is coming to a close.  It has been another year of successful blogging.  Near the end of January will be the start of the 12 year for this blog.  In the post I made last year at this time. Talked about starting a new project of making YouTube videos.  With the goal of having one up every week.  I had reached that goal.  Plan to keep at it.  May be it will grow more in the new year.  If you haven’t check it out you can see the channel here > I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry . The Outer Worlds Hands On

Back in December of 2018 first heard about The Outer Worlds.  Since than have been reading and watching about the game.  When it was out in October (2019) was playing other games so put off getting a copy.  Well this Christmas received a copy.  While I haven’t played much as I am typing this post (December 27, 2019).  What did liked a lot.  I laughed out loud three times during the beginning of the game.  The voice acting is awesome and funny.  Even some of the text is funny.  My next day off plan to play some more.  Can’t wait to dive back in.  It has the felling of Fallout 4 and Bioshock.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Year One: The Complete Collection – Quick Review

In this weeks video for the YouTube Channel, I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry, have a quick review, Injustice: Gods Among Us Year One: The Complete Collection.  The Injustice: Gods Among Us comic started back in 2013 and is a tie into the video game of the same name.  Back then seen some panels online but didn’t pay much attention to it.  Now I wish I had.  This is an awesome book.  Has the best story line I have read in a long time.  Here is my quick review on this trade paperback.  You can see the video > here or below.

Superman: Red Son Trailer

The next DC Universe Animated Original movie is  Superman: Red Son.  This one is a stand-alone movie and is based off the three issue comic book mini series of the same name.  The basic plot is what if Superman lands in Soviet Union and is raised by the government.  It sounds interesting.  Then after watching the trailer > here or below.  It looks awesome.  Just might be the best of one of these movies yet.  It will be out in digital February 25, 2020. Then on Disc March 17.  As all ways will be getting a copy.

More Games

Just before Christmas while shopping took a look at the cheap game section and seen two games on my want list. The Crew 2 and Trials Rising.  Have tired both back when they were in beta.  Did like both games but wasn’t going to pay full price for them.  So when I seem them so cheap had to get them. The Crew 2 is just the regular version.  However was surprised to see that Trails was the Gold Edition.  It is the game plus the Expansion Pass.  A great deal for $30.00 each.

Merry Boxing Day 2019

I hope everyone had a fun and safe Christmas.  Mine was a big difficult with the resent loss of a family member.  Did our best to keep up with traditional.  As all ways the food was awesome.  There was even enough left over for today.  Made sure to make extra dressing.  The weather was very nice, a bit of sun and no wind.  After eating spent the day listening to the radio.  In the evening watched three movies.

 

  

Merry Christmas 2019

I want to wish everyone and their families a Merry Christmas.  I hope everyone has the best one ever.  This year will be much different than past years. Will be sad at times.  However will try our best to have some fun.  Still planning on having a great meal.  MERRY CHRISTMAS VERY ONE.

Nightmare Creatures – Free Play Day

In this weeks video for the YouTube Channel, I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry, have a Free Play Day.  In this one I play the classic PlayStation game Nightmare Creatures.  Back in the day one of the first games I ever bought for my PlayStation. Do believe I tried a demo for it. At that time the level of detail in the world had me interested. Never got very far into it since it seemed very tough. The Muppet Christmas Carol

Yes it is another post taking about Christmas show or movie.  Trying my best to get into it.  This time talking about what I think is the best Muppet movie ever, The Muppet Christmas Carol.  Enjoy watching this one every year.  Can remember seeing this in theatres when it was released back in 1992.  Think this classic holds up really well.  They do show it every year on TV.  But if you missed it.  You can me rented online though Google or on YouTube.
