PlayStation Plus August 2017 Game’s Line-up

The list of free game for PlayStation Plus members for August 2017 is now out.  This time around there are two big AAA game for the PS4.  One is Just Cause 3.  All ready on this game.  It is pretty awesome.  So those that don’t, this is a must download.  The other is the standalone adventure is the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag world.  Loved the Black Flag game.  So it will be fun to try  this one out.  You can read the official blog post > here.  The game will be downloadable August 1, 2017.

Fear the Walking Dead Season 3 Official Comic-Con Trailer

The trailers just keep coming from this year (2017) Comic-Con.  This one is for the second half of Fear The Walking Dead, season three. The first half of the season was pretty awesome.  After watching the trailer > here or below.  The rest of the episodes are going to be epic. Think the trailer got over shadowed by the trailer for season 8 of The Walking Dead.  In my book they are equal.  The second half will start airing September 10, 2017.

Ready Player One Trailer

One of my favourite books of all time is Ready Player One.   Enjoyed it so much, told just about everyone I know about it.  When I finished reading it was hoping there would be more.  Sadly there is not.  However knew they were turning it into a movie.  Which would be out some time in 2018.  So it was an awesome surprised at this years (2017) Comic-Con they showed off a trailer.  The movie is all so called Ready Player One.  Have watched the trailer about six times.  You can see for yourself > here or below.  Am very happy to see that they are able to bring in all the pop culture characters.  The movie will be out March 30, 2018.  Can’t wait to see it.  If you watch the trailer and think it is awesome.  Go read the book.  You will not be disappointed.

Play DOOM For Free This Weekend On PS4

If you are a PlayStation Plus member have some cool news to share.  From July 27 to 31, 2017 you can download and play the full 2016 version of DOOM.  The website says the file size is 47GB.  But it is more likely a lot bigger than that.  So if you have the hard drive space and time.  Think it would be well worth it.  Have heard lots of great things about this game.  Might just give it a try.  All so if you like it.  It is still on sale until August 16, 2017.  You can more about it on the PlayStation store’s game page > here.

The Black Eyed Peas – Let’s Get It Started

It is musical throwback Thursday once again.  This weeks song is Let’s Get It Started by The Black Eyed Peas.  This is off their 2003 album called Elephunk.  While this wasn’t their first album this one made them very famous.  They had lots of hits in the early 2000’s.  This being one of them.  Think it still holds up well.  You can give it a watch/listen > here or below.

The Walking Dead: Season 8 Comic-Con Official Trailer

This past weekend July 20 –23, 2017 was the San Diego’s International Comic-Con.  This the biggest show of the year for this type of stuff.  Every year they show off all kinds of awesome trailers for movies and TV.  From about season four (and on) AMC shows of a trailer of the up coming season of The Walking Dead.  This happens to be season eight.  Must say the trailer is petty epic.  The internet is all a buzz about what is shown in at the end.  You can see for yourself > here or below.  Season eight starts October 22, 2017.

Destiny 2 Open Beta

The early access beta for Destiny 2 has been on going since July 18, 2017.  Tried to get into that but not luck.  Filled out a from on GameSpot.com for a chance to win.  Well it is know big deal.  Because the open beta for PS3 and Xbox One runs from July 21 to 23, 2017.  I do believe you can pre-download the file.  Which is about 13GB.  Plan to give the beta a try.  Remember the first games beta.  While I thought it was cool.  Just never sold me on the game.  Destiny 2 looks a lot better.

[Update] Gave it a try.  The beta let you play an opening mission.  Once that finish that you can play the co-op raid or the deathmatch modes.  Didn’t try those.  Just wanted to see how the main game felt.  Well it felt like your standard fps.  The movement was nice a smooth.  That’s the only good thing I can say about it.  It just was pretty standard and boring.  Am sure the full game will have lots to offer.  But it is not for me.

DiRT 4 Hands On

Last week some time made a post talking about DiRT 4.  On how Amazon.ca had it on sale.  Well it showed up in the mail this past Monday (July 17, 2017).  Have been looking forward to trying this out for a very long time.  Just like every new game now a days.  There is a update patch to download.  Thankfully it didn’t take long.

First off this game is much different than the last few games.  Has some of the same elements from all the past games.  While bringing in lots of new things.  Haven’t tried it all yet.  One thing that stands out right way is you can choose to play in game mode or simulation.   It choose game because I think a racing game should be fun first and not wanting to smash your controller.  Once you pick a mode there are options to make easier or harder as well.  Only played a few rally and land rush races.  They felt good to race.  The controls are great.  The environment all so look great.  There seems to be a lot content to get though.  Not sure if I will be able to do it all.  But will try since I finished the first three games.

PlayStation Store Flash Sale July 2017

Am a bit late posting this.  However there is still time.  There is another flash sale going on in the PlayStation Store.  There has been one every month this year.  Just like other sales there are some good deals.  All so, some of the games have been in these before.  The sale started on July 21, 2017 and ends of the 24th.  You can see if there is anything you might like > here.  Don’t think I will be getting any thing this time around.  Have two many games at the moment.

Knights Of Valour Video

Yesterday (July 22, 2017) post I talked about seen the Knights of Valour jousting show.  Post some pictures on that.  All so took some video.  Well have it to editing now and uploaded.  My camera was acting up a bit.  You can see some weird looking lines in some clips.  It would come an go when taking video and pictures.  Think there might be something thing wrong with a sensor.  However you can see the video > here or below.
