The Walking Dead Season 5 Official Trailer

We are a little over two weeks way from season five of The Walking Dead starting.  October 12, 2014 is the day.  The people at AMC have put out one more trailer.  It may be only 30 seconds long but they packed a lot into it.  From what I can tell this season will have a lot more big action scenes.  Some of which are teased in the trailer.  Which you can see > here or below.  If you want to be surprised don’t watch the trailer.

Assassin’s Kittens Unity

This past weekend there was a video getting shared all over the place that I have to share as well.  There is one think that can make Assassin’s Creed better is kittens.  Well the world can ended tomorrow because the people over at the Mr. TV Cow YouTube Channel have done it.  The video has kittens taking on the roll as the assassin’s.  This is spoof on the new co-op mode in Assassin’s Creed: Unity.  They didn’t a great job making this video.  check it out > here or below.

Stock Car Races

It was my second time out at the renamed Cape Breton Miners Memorial Speedway.  Think this would be the third big races they have put on here.  There were less crashes this time around.  However there was one pretty big one.  One car ended up on top of other.  His left front tire was on the other cars windshield.  There are pictures of that below.  The weather was prefect except for the wind.  Made it a bit cold.  The next races is set to be October 18, 2014.  Planning going to that one as well.  Will have to wear lots of layers.

Have to say the people running this are doing an awesome job.  There was no down time.  Even with the crashes and spinouts they got thing going again pretty fast.  Thinking next season there might be more races because there were lots of people there.

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Trailer

I know I all ready talked about Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor yesterday.  But going to again because there is a new trailer you witch is pretty cool.  This one is different because it shows off how everything will work in the game.  Not just pretty scenes and action.  It is about about nine minutes long.  The game is set to come out September 30, 2014.  Think this trailer will help people understand what this game is all about.  Check out the trailer called Everything You Need to Walk into Mordor Trailer > here or below.

Middle-earth: Shadow Of Mordor

This up coming Tuesday (September 30, 2014) the game Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will be out.  In a very rare move the game will be out  a week early.  It was first announced it would be out October 7, 2014.  At first was planning on getting this game after I got ones higher up on my must play list.  Now that  Assassin’s Creed: Unity has been pushed back.  Think I will pick this one up day one.  Pretty sure this will be a huge game taking lots of time to get though.  Which should make this next-gen new game price point, $70, worth it.

Barenaked Ladies – Lovers In A Dangerous Time

For this weeks musical throwback Thursday.  It is the very first Barenaked Ladies I have ever heard, Lovers In A Dangerous Time.  The song was originally done by Bruce Cockburn.  The Barenaked Ladies cover the song for the 1991 Cockburn tribute album called Kick at the Darkness.  Later it was put on their greatest hits album Disc One: All Their Greatest Hits (1991 – 2001).  The music video is pretty awesome and very Canadian.  Couldn’t find a good quality copy so this > here or below will have to do.

Gotham Episode One Impressions

Was looking forward to seeing Gotham to premiere Monday night (September 22, 2014).  But sadly Under The Dome last episode of season two aired at the same time.  Decided to watch Under the Dome first because have been watching all season.  So this why my impressions of Gotham is days after the showed aired.

This show is awesome.  Knew it would be good.  How ever it was much better than I thought it would be.  There are a many things why the first episode was so good.  First on you don’t have to know anything about DC comics or anything about Batman and his villains. That is because Bruce Wayne is still a kid and James Gordon is a newly made detective.  This show is starting at the ground floor so everyone can get in.  So far it seems like they are going to keep everything more realistic.  Then there was all the little things that were there if you are a Batman fan.

This year is a very good year for TV shows.  Think this will be a must watch list.  Will be on mine.

Under The Dome Season 2 Review

Was a bit conflicted this past Monday (September 22, 2014).  That was because season two of Under The Dome ended.  But it was all so the premiere of Gotham at the same time.  Had to finish watching Under the Dome.  The first half of the season was a bit of a hit or miss.  There would be some really good then would bottom out.  However the last five episodes have been really good.  It was what I was hoping for the show.  They focused more on the main plot line with every main characters on pretty much the same page.

Have to say this season was much better then the first.  But it did get off to a bit of a rocky start.  The last few episodes more than made up for that.  The got around to answering some of the stuff they started off in season one. Pretty sure there will be a season three.  Because they ended with a very big cliff-hanger.  Think this is the prefect summer show.

Blender

A little while back heard about a very cool program called Blender.  From their website, “Blender is a free and open source 3D animation suite.”   Which means you can do 3D modeling and rendering.  It has animation toolsets.  All so you can add rigging to your models so it can be used in a video game.  You can even make a game with this software.  You can read about all the awesome feature > here.   The one that caught my eye is you can edit videos as well.  Which has camera/object tracking built in.  The software is free and open source so I think I will have to give it a try.

The Simpsons Family History

There is a cool new book coming about The Simpsons.   Which is called The Simpsons Family History.  You might guess from the title it will be the history of the family.  From the description from the website,

This book sounds pretty sweet.  Think I will have to order myself a copy.  It will be about September 23, 2014.  Think this is the only book I heard of that has a video trailer.  Which you can see > here or below.
