Monster Garage Reboot

There seems to be a new trend going on with TV now a days.  They are reboot or getting new seasons of old shows that have been off the air for years.  Another one coming back is Monster Garage.  There is a post of the Discovery website > here saying the show will be back with Jesse James.  The show has been off the air for 14 years.  Can remember watching back then and some what liking it.  Reality TV has changed a lot of the years.  So it will be interesting to see how the update it.  They say it will be airing sometime in 2020.  There is a video on the post but it wouldn’t play for me.  Someone did upload it to YouTube.  Which you can see > here if it hasn’t been taken down yet.

NexDock 2

Have been looking at get a portable monitor for a little while now.  Just wanted something some what cheap that I could take to game nights.  Have seen some on Amazon.ca.  They are some goods there.  Then came across something cool through a YouTube video.  It is called NexDock 2 and the NexDock Touch.  They look like your standard laptop but not.  They are just a screen, keyboard and battery.  The idea is you plug a smartphone or a Raspberry Pi into to make it a computer.  Since it has an HDMI input you could hook up a game console to it.  The NexDock 2 will be out some time in March 2020.  With a price of $260 US plus shipping.  The Touch version is set to be out in July with a price of $230 US plus shipping.

Avicii – Levels

Time again for musical throwback Thursday.  Kind of cheating this weeks pick.  The rules for throwback Thursday are the song has to be ten years or more older.  The thing is Levels by Avicii is nine years old.  However reading the Wiki post the song uses a sample from a 1962 song.  There are some good remixes and mash ups but think this version is the best.  Which you can see > here or below.  The single was official released in 2011.

Dreams

Thinking about picking up a copy of the PS4 “game” Dreams.  It is and it’s a game at the same time.  Sure you can play games in it but you can make your own as well.  Or make pretty much anything else as well.  Over the years have tinkered at trying to make a game.  But ever got very far.  Thinking this might be a good place to start. Watched some videos on it and people have created some pretty cool things.  In the video > here or below done my IGN they talk to the game makers about it in as mini documentary.  Will be back in another post if I get a copy.

Pancake Day 2020

Blog about this every year.  Going to again because it is one of the best days of the year, Pancake Day or Shrove Tuesday.  Every since I was a kid getting to eat pancakes for supper was great treat.  Over the years have gotten really good at making them.  This is the recipe I use > here.  Just makes sure you mix it really well at room temperature.

RPG Maker MV – PlayStation 4

While looking up information on the RPG Maker that was on the original PlayStation.  Discovered something interesting the newest version, RPG Mark MV, is coming to the PlayStation 4.  Do own a copy of RPG Maker VX Ace on PC.   Only messed around with it for a bit.  The software is pretty cool what you can do with it.  From what I am reading this version will be on the PS4 on March 30, 2020.  Not sure how accurate the releases date is.  Will keep my eye on it.  Would like to get a copy.

Just need to take your time setting up the files in ChiTuBox. The Division 2: Warlords Of New York

It has been a very long time since I last played The Division 2.  Thinking I have put about 50 hours in and am know were close to max level.  Or even finished the story missions.  Like the game a lot just got way from it since there are so many others to play.  Thinking I might just back in again because there is a new standalone DLC coming out soon called, Warlords of New York.  The story brings you back to New York many months after the out break.  In the first game it took place during Christmas time. Now it will be set in the summer.  It does look good interesting.  Being a standalone you don’t need to have the main game.  It gives you an option to level up to where you need to be.  It’s set to be out March 3, 2020.

PlayStation Player Celebration

On February 18, 2020 Sony opened up a community contest called PlayStation Player Celebration.  The idea once you sign up is to reach a number a games played and Trophies earned, we get prizes.  There will be three sages starting February 24 and ends on March 15.  When each stage is finished those who took part will get a PS4 theme and or a avatar.  All so for singing up you are put in a draw to win a “real-life PlayStation Platinum Trophy engraved with your PSN ID” as well as other stuff.  You can read more about the details by clicking the link above.  Am going to sign up.  You never know someone has to win.

Owl City – Fireflies

That day of the week again, musical throwback Thursday.  The pick this time is Fireflies by Owl City.  I hear this one just about every day a work.  It was a big hit back in 2009 when it was out.  It is off his 2009 album Ocean Eyes.  Remember hearing it back then thinking it is pretty cool.  Nice an relaxing.  But after hearing it all most every work day it get old.  However still worth a throwback pick.  You can give it a watch/listen > here or below.
