Yet another year is coming to a close. It has been another year of successful blogging. Near Near the end of January 2018 will mark ten years for this blog. That is a pretty crazy that I will have been at this ten years. Not sure what I will be doing any special. Have to think about it. Over this time. Think I have gotten better at writing. Sure there are still lots of typos. But think the content has gotten stronger. So here is to a new year of bigger and better things.
The list of free game for PlayStation Plus members for January 2018 is now out. Looks like 2018 will be another great year for gaming. PlayStation is starting the new year off with a bang. The list has some pretty games on it. They have add a new VR game that will be free until early March. The rest of the games all look fun. You can read the official blog post > here. It is the last musical throwback Thursday of the year. Took me awhile to decide which one to pick. So got thinking, why not pick a song from my all favourite band Queen. The song is Hammer To Fall. Which is off their 1984 album, The Works. Not much to say about this song other than is just pure awesome. Give it a watch/listen > here or below.
Season seven Blu-ray of Game of Thrones was out on December 12, 2017. I forgot to get a copy that day. Then continued to forget for about a week. Had one last gift to get on the 21th so while shopping bought a copy of this. The version I got comes with a extra disc. Which is called Conquest & Rebellion: An Animated History of the Seven Kingdoms. As you can guess it is a history lessons of the Game of Thrones world. Will be watching this first because it sounds very interesting.
I hope everyone had a fun and safe Christmas. The weather here was a bit fine in the morning. By the evening the wind picked up and we lost the power. Well pretty much the whole provinces last power. That being said. It was still a very good Christmas. There was lots to eat and everyone had a good time.
I want to wish everyone and their families a Merry Christmas. I hope everyone has the best one ever. Eat till you can’t eat any more. That is all ways the best part. There is all ways something about Christmas dinner where you have to go back for thirds.
We are getting closer to Christmas. So I thought I would share one of my newish favorites. It is I Heard The Bells on Christmas Day by Johnny Reid. This is off his 2013 Christmas album called A Christmas Gift to You. First heard in off the TV special that shares the same name. Really like that special. So had to go an by the CD. It has become my all time favorite. All the songs on there are good. All so there is none of the shitty Santa/Rudolph/Frosty crap. You can give it a listen > here or below.
There is a handful of Christmas specials I have to watch every year. One of them is A Muppet Family Christmas. Have owned a copy of VHS for a very long time. Have talked about this for the past three years. But going to do it again because it’s awesome. Years ago found the full version on YouTube and it is still there. Which you can see > here or below. Still very surprised it’s still on there. Have seen this so many times but it still puts a smile on my face.
