Game Of Thrones: A Guide To Westeros Puzzle

Thinking very hard about buying the Game of Thrones: A Guide to Westeros Puzzle.  Buy myself some thing cool every year for a Christmas gift.  The only trouble is I have only found one listing for Canada and the rest come from the States.  The Canadian listing is on Amazon.ca but not from them but from a user that uses there online storefront.  They are asking (as of November 26, 2013) $74.95.   Over at Amazon.com they are selling it for $59.55 US.  Then he HBO Store wants $59.99 again in US money.  Going to look into the Amazon.com to see how much shipping and the exchange rate/tax will come too.  Just to see if it will be cheaper than the guy on Amazon.ca.  Will be back with an update if I decided to buy one.

GTA 5 Black Friday Discounts

The American Black Friday sales have taken over here in Canada but now it has taken over the video game world as well.  Of course there will be all kinds of great games on sale.  But here to talk about in game sale Grand Theft Auto V.   Should say it is for GTA Online they are have a 50% sale on the rifles along with the attachments and ammo.  There is more they are all so selling all black clothing and accessories for 50% off.  The sale starts November 28 and ends December 1, 2013.  Think this is a pretty cool idea.  I know I will be buying some stuff.  So if you have GTA V and play online it is a good time to get some good deals.

Merry Christmas Mr. Bean

Every one knows who Mr. Bean is and know that he is awesome.  Have seen all the episodes about a million times.  Well they other night Merry Christmas Mr. Bean was on CBC.  Even though I own all the episodes on DVD and seen this episode the most out of all them I just had to watch.   Even being twenty years old it holds up every well and till very funny.  I am sure it will be on TV again before Christmas but in case you miss it this year or don’t own a copy found the full episode in YouTube.  Check it out > here or below.   This must be on your holiday special watch list.

The Snowman

Now that we are less than a month away from Christmas I like to watch movies and specials.  One old one I have not seen in a very long time is The Snowman from 1982.  This one is most famous for the song Walking In The Air.  This show doesn’t have any talking it is more about the animation and music  setting the mood.  There is something very special with the snowman and the kid start to run then take off.  That song kicks in.  A classic for sure.  There are lots of version on YouTube but I like this one the most > here or below.

Kick-Ass DVD

The Blu-ray and DVD of Kick-Ass 2 will be out December 17, 2013.  Haven’t see it yet and cant wait too.  But here to talk about the first one, Kick-Ass.  The other day I was at Wal-mart looking though the cheap DVD bin and seen this movie for $5.00.   So I bought.  Seen this back first back in 2010 and remember liking it.  There is some great stuff in here but the best part is Big Daddy (played by Nicolas Cage) takes on the bad guys in a warehouse.  It pretty awesome.  He is like a Batman that kills.  If you haven’t see this movie it is well worth check in out.

Twin Shadow – Old Love / New Love

Have another song from Grand Theft Auto V’s soundtrack.  This time the song is from the radio station Radio Mirror Park.  The song is Old Love/New Love by DJ Twin Shadow.  He all so host the some radio station the song it on.  After listen to the song on YouTube it seemed a bit different.  But I guess when I am playing the game the song are blended together.  Over all the song is very good.  If it wasn’t I wouldn’t be talking about.

Game of Thrones: A Guide To Westeros Puzzle

Have never been it to puzzles but think I am will to change my mind after see things one.  The Game of Thrones: Guide to Westeros.  What is cool about this puzzle is that it is multi-layered.  Three layers make up this puzzle.  The first layer is a 1000 piece jigsaw.  Layer two is an artistic 200 pieces.  Then the third layer adds 3D miniatures off all the famous landmarks.  It is made by the people at 4D City Scape.  They make some pretty awesome 3D puzzles.  Am thinking about buying one.  That is if I can find one.  Will just have to look around online.  Check out the video of it > here or below.

A Christmas Story

Once again talking about the best movie ever made, A Christmas Story.  It is a must watch every year for me at lest three times.  It is the official start to the Christmas season.  No matter how may times I have seen this I laugh every time.  There is something every special about this movie.  Has to the most to real life a movie can be.  They feel like they are a real family.  Own this movie on DVD and Blu-ray.  The Blu-ray looks great but I prefer the DVD version.  Pretty sure just about everyone has seen this movie at lest once.  But if you haven’t seen it in a long time it is must buy.

Darius Rucker – Wagon Wheel

Have a great song stuck in my head.  It is Wagon Wheel by Darius Rucker.   A few seconds into watching the video I recognized the guys face.  It is the lead singer of Hootie & The Blowfish.  His newest album is called True Believers.  Turns out this is his third country album.  I had know idea he was on country artiest now.  Well that is because I am not a big country music fan.  But every now again there is a song that gets my attention.  After looking into this song it turns out it is a cover song.   That is ok because the song is really good.  Sticks in your head but in a good way.  Take a look/listen > here or below.

Not The Nine O’Clock News – I Like Trucking

Think the internet is a funny crazy place.  At one moment you are looking at some interesting which leads to looking some totally different that is comedy gold.  This is how I ended up seeing I Like Trucking from the old BBC TV show Not the Nine O’clock News.  Have heard of this show because Rowan Atkinson was in it.  Ok, back on track.  I was watching one episode of Gamespot.com shows, Random Encounter.   In this show they play a random game.  Most times they are pretty bad games.  The show is funny as the guys react to how bad the games are.  The episode I was watching they were playing Transport Simulator.  During one point one of the guys asked what is your favourite trucking song.  They the other guy starts singing I Like Trucking.   How know idea what that was.  Until I scrolled down into the comments.  Where someone posted the video > here or below.  It is very old but still funny stuff.
