PlayStation Classic Full Game List

Back on September 20, 2018 Sony announced the PlayStation Classic.   This is a small box that looks like the original PlayStation that will have twenty games on it, that hooks up to your TV via HDMI.  At that time the only listed five of the games.  Well the other day (October 29, 2018) the put the full list.  You can read the official blog post > here.   Out of the twenty games there is only one I never heard of, Revelations: Persona.  As for the rest. Either played the buy owning, renting or by demo.  Of Course the internet got the pitchforks out.  Because because the game/games they were hoping for are not on there.  I think it is a good list.  A nice mix of different game types and styles.  It will be out December 3, 2018 and will cost $130.00 Canadian.  Like I said in my last post about this.  Wouldn’t be going out of my way to get one.  But if I seen one in store just might buy it.

Open Broadcast Software

Am still working on new videos.  Nothing uploaded yet.  Waiting until I have enough done and ready to go.  Which will give a more of buffer in case something happens and I can’t get a new one made every week.  On that note a making new videos.  Was looking for a way to capture my PC screen.  Have a few ideas for videos.  After looking online for the best options for my needs.  Going to give Open Broadcast Software (OBS).  This program can do a lot.  It very popular with people whos stream on Twitch.  Wouldn’t be doing any of that.  It can can record you screen and save it to a file for later use.  Have not tried it yet.  Plan to every soon.

Winterized My Motorcycle

It is all ways a sad day when I winterize my Yamaha XT225.  There weather today (October 29, 2018) was crazy warm, 18 °C.   Two day before it was only 3 °C.  This made it the prefect day to this.  It was some much easier to change the oil with having your fingers freezing off.  It will be a long six months or so before I can ride again.  In the spring will have to take it to the shop.  What them to check over all the cables and breaks.  It will 13 years old by then.  Want to make sure it is still in safe working order.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Hands On

Only played about six hours so far but holy shit this game, Red Dead Redemption 2 , is pure awesome.   To be honest was not pulled in right way. All the details and they way the characters interact is amazing.  Am very impressed with the snow.  There are trees covered in heavy snow.  If you brush up against a branch.  The now will fall off and the branch will bounce back.  Didn’t really get into it until you get the point were you are free to do want you want.  That is when the real magic kicks in.  The world feels alive.  I’ll tell one story.  The game lets you interact with pretty much everyone.  Was riding along.  Seen a guy trying to fix a shoe on his horse.  Called out do you need any help.  The guy says sure.  Just as he got the words out.  His horse kicks him in the chest and he died.  It was pretty funny.  Am sure there will be a lot more crazy stuff will happen.

Red Dead Redemption 2: The Complete Official Guide

Yep, this will be one of many more posts about Red Dead Redemption 2.  This one is about the official guides.  Seen them on Amazon.ca.  Am very tempted to get one.  There are two versions.  A hardcover and paperback.  The thing is at the time I am typing this (October 21, 2018) the hardcover is cheaper.  Not by much though, $1.16.  All this info from this book will be online.  It is just kind of nice to have in your hands.  Might get a copy.  They are out the same day as the game, October 26, 2018.

[Update]  Took a look back at the links on Amazon.ca and it turns out they are not available for some reason.  They are on back order.  Guess I will not be ordering one.

Red Dead Redemption 2 My Copy

Today is the day, October 26, 2018, Red Dead Redemption 2 is out.  Went and tried to get a copy on my lunch break.  Didn’t even eat first.  There wasn’t any one there.  Walked up to the guy at the counter and asked for the game.  He said, “We don’t have any yet,  may be by 2 or 3pm.”   Thinking how is this possible.  So went back after work.  There still wasn’t any one there.  This time they had all kinds of copies.  Even Special Editions.  Was a bit surprised at that because this store never has games like that.  It comes with extra mission, other stuff and a physical world map.  Thought about it for a second and decided why not and got that version.  Will be back with an update or a new post once I tried it for a few hours.

The Black & White Brothers – Put Your Hands Up (In The Air) (Dj Tonka Edit)

The song for this weeks musical throwback Thursday.  Popped into my heard out of know were.  It is the very 90’s, Put Your Hands up (In the Air) by The Black & White Brothers.  Can remember this song being on a compilation tape I owned.  Couldn’t find much info about these guys.  The song was released in 1998. Think it was feature on a bunch of compilations.  You can give it a listen/watch > here or below.

A Clash Of Kings: The Graphic Novel: Volume One

If you have stopped by this blog over the years you know I am a fan of the book series The Songs of Fire and Ice.  Which is now most famous for the TV series Game Of Thrones which is based of the books.  Not only did they makes these books a show.  They made a comic out of the first book, A Game of Thrones.  Which was later put out in four part graphic Novels.  Own all four of those.  Every since then wondered if they would turn the second book, A Clash of Kings, into one.

Turns out they have and the first graphic novel is out.  Which is called A Clash of Kings: The Graphic Novel: Volume One.   It is being published by Dynamite Comics.  Will have to get a copy of this.  All keep my eye out for then the next volume is out.  Am guessing there will be four volume just like they did for the first book.

Red Dead Redemption 2 All Most Here

It has been a long wait.  But Red Dead Redemption 2 is all most here.  Have been waiting to play this ever since I first read about it four years ago.  The first Redemption game was something very special and enjoyed the hell out of it.  This one will be on a whole another level.  Know the install size is pretty big.  Have been reading conflicting information.  I know don’t have to worry about that since I have a 5TB hard drive.  It will be a pain for a lot of people deciding what to deleted off their hard drive.  Few more days and we can play this awesome game.

Garbage Pail Kids Cards

Back when I was in elementary school one of the fads going around was, Garbage Pail Kids Cards.  They were every ware.  Didn’t get all the jokes but just knew they were cool to have.  Like all fads they go way.  Well the other day seen a store had two boxes of new cards. Thought every thing old is new again.  So bought two packs.  Which are from the Battle of the Bands line.  When I got home to look these up.  Turns out these card never really when away.  Just took breaks over some time.
