Redream Trouble

Have had Redream (a Sega Dreamcast emulation) running on my mini for a little while now.  It works awesome.  Well until the other night.  When I load up the racing game I like.  Very screen had this weird blocking thing going on.  Tried another game and the same thing.  Messed with one of the settings and seemed to fix the second game.  Decided to uninstall the program, then re-install it.  That didn’t help.   Not sure what is going one.  May be the game files got messed up some how.  Going to have to look into this more.

DualShock 4 Controller

For a few years now have been hoping PlayStation DualShock 4 controllers would go on sale during black Friday.  It didn’t happen again this year.  Let the PS5 ones did.  As I am typing this (November 25, 2022) they coast out $75.00.  To me that is too much.  The Wave Blue one I bought back in 2015 sticks have worn a lot.  So many be they will go on sale during the Boxing week sales.  Fingers crossed.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Next Gen Trailer

Back on November 23, 2022 they put out some info and trailer for the next gen update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.   You can see that > here or below.  If you watch it, it highlights what the chances are.   Own of copy for my PS4.  So when I do get my hands on PS5 the upgrade to this version will be free. If you get it for the PS5 or Xbox Series X the game will be digital only first.  They say there will be a disc at some point.  All so very temped to buy the complete edition for PC.  Since it is (or was) on sale for Black Friday.  This update/upgrade will be out December 14, 2022.

New World Hours Played

Talking about New World again.  A few posts back talked about how I have started using a controller with the game.  This makes is so much easier to move around.  While using the keyboard and mouse is fine.  Just found it got uncomfortable after awhile.  Can play much longer with the controller.  Still need to use the keyboard and mouse to do some things like the menus and map.  The main movement, combat and interacting  with the controller.  As I am typing this (November 22, 2022) have put in about 30 hours and there is still so much more to do and see.

Chibi Spider-Man

Think I have found my next 3D printing project for at Printables.com again.  It this this > here a Chibi Spider-Man.  While not the biggest Spider-Man/Marvel fan this does look really cool.  All so it should be some what easy to paint.   It does seem to be designed to be printed with resin.  But I will be using my FDM printer.  The only down side is when it comes time prime it.  It’s winter here now so will have to keep my eye on the weather.

Legion Of Super-Heroes Trailer

We now know what the next DC Universe Animated Original movie is, Legion of Super-Heroes.  This characters have been in a few of the shows and other movies in the past.  But don’t really know much about them.  The movie is set what they are calling the Tomorrowverse time line.  Really do like this art style.  From what I have been reading it is set to be out on February 7, 2023.  You can check out the trailer > here or below.

Bizarre Inc. – I’m Gonna Get You

Once again it is musical throwback Thursday.  The pick this time is I’m Gonna Get You by Bizarre Inc..  Have been a very long time since I have heard this one.  Do believe it was on one of the mix tapes I owned.  The song off their 1992 album Energique.  It has a very 90’s sound to it.  While not great over all there are some good parts to it.  You can give it a listen > here or below.

New World With A Controller

Have been playing New World for a few weeks now with about 25 hours in.  While the games doesn’t support controllers official yet.  Have read at some point it will.  However since the game is on Steam you can use a controller.  Seen some videos tutorials on how to set it up.  That look easy enough to do.   Wanted to see what if I just plug in a controller, what happens.  It kind of works right way.  You and move and look no problem.  Using your weapons/skills work as well.  However navigating the menus and inventory you still need to use the keyboard.  Am sure if I go back to re-watch the setup video it would show what to do.   Am hoping official controller support does come soon.  Find the game more enjoyable with the controller.

DC Greatest Events

There is a book I would like to buy about DC Comics called, DC Greatest Events.  As you may guess from the title.  It talks about all the really big stuff that happed in the DC Multiverse.   The book its self is big and a page count of 200.  So there will be lots of interesting things to read.  However the price point is holding me back a bit.  At the time of typing this (November 16, 2022) Amazon.ca is asking $47.00.  Might wait to see if it goes on sale at some point.

Borderlands 3 Over LAN

It has been awhile since I have played Borderlands 3.  Have had it for my PS4 for a long time.  Back in May (2022) over that the Epic Game Store it was one of the free games.  Now that I have a mini PC, Minisforum UM580, I installed it on that.  A few nights ago gave it a try.  I must say it worked great right away.  It was well optimized.  All so that night got to play it over a LAN connection.  This all so work with no problem.  Another awesome thing the game works with a PS4 controller and didn’t have to set anything up.  Can’t wait to try it again over a LAN.  Many be get to work with four players.
