Ready Player Two

It was back in March (2021) was talking about getting a copy of Ready Player Two.  Was waiting for the paperback version.  Since most times it is much cheaper.  Turns out over at Amazon.ca the hardcover is cheaper.   Am a huge fan of the first book, Ready Player One.  So I finely ordered a copy of this book.  It should be heard some time this week.  Not sure how long it will take me to read but will be back with a review.

The Grand Tour Presents: Lochdown

Just a reminder that the new The Grand Tour special, The Grand Tour Presents: Lochdown is out today (July 30, 2021).  Haven’t seen it yet but think it will be a very fun and funny watch.  If you don’t know what it is about you can see the trailer > here.   They take a, “trip around Scotland, creating chaos on the streets of Edinburgh and building a homemade floating bridge across the Hebridean sea.”

U2 – I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For

Once again it is musical throwback Thursday.  Have picked another U2 song.  This time it is, I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.  Which is off their 1987 album The Joshua Tree.   They had lot so great hits of this album.  You can give it a listen/ watch > here or below.

The Walking Dead Season 11 Trailer

The San Diego Comic-Con (2021) happened over the weekend.  That means they put out lots trailers.  One is for The Walking Dead season 11.  Oh man, it looks super amazing.  Have been a fan since day one.  So it will be sad to see it all end.  However it will be a very long ended.  Have read that this season (the last one) will be broken up in three parts.  As for this amazing trailer you can see it > here or below.  We don’t have much longer for it to start.  August 22, 2021.

The Harder They Fall Trailer

Netflix has been putting out a lot of good movies as of late.  There is another one come some time this Fall (2021) called The Harder They Fall.  While I am not into westerns.  There have been a few I like this one might be add to the list.  From the trailer > here or below.  Looks like there will be lots of great action.

Elegoo Neptune 2 – New Springs

Got around to ordering new bed springs for my Elegoo Neptune 2.  In my last post talking about this 3D printer I had trouble leveling the bed in the back left corner.  When would turn the knob to lower or raise that corner it would only move a little.  Have read that some people are replacing the stock springs with better ones.  I just had to find out which one would work the this machine.  These are the ones I ordered > here.  Hoping they will be here soon.  Because I have some plans for a big prints.

The Art Of AMC’s The Walking Dead Universe

As you many know I am a big fan of the Walking Dead comic as well as the TV shows.  Just found out there is a new book on the way covering all three shows.  It is called The Art of AMC’s The Walking Dead Universe.  It will cover, “all in one incredible collection! Includes never-before-seen original sketches, concept art, storyboards, previs art, set concept and engineering art, promotional concept to completion key art, special product illustrations, in-world product art, and much more.”  It sounds pretty cool, until I seen the price.  Amazon.ca is asking $60.32 (as of tying this, July 23, 2021).  The price might drop before it is set to be out.  Which is October 5, 2021.

Tom Clancy’s XDefiant

Ubisoft is putting a new free to play FPS.  There have been many of these team bases games over the years.  This one stands out a bit because they are bring together many of the Tom Clancy game characters and worlds.  It is called Tom Clancy’s XDefiant.   Not sure when it will be out but they will be running closed beta test in August (2021).  You can sign up by going to the website.  While these types of games are not my thing.  Going to sign up anyway.

Neverwinter On PS4

The free to play MMO action RPG Neverwinter has been around for many years now.  Back in 2016 it was out on the PlayStation 4.  Over those years have looked at it on the PlayStation Store but never downloaded it.  Have tried a few different MMO but never stuck with any.  Was board the day so gave this a try on my PS4.  It is all so out on PC and XBox One.  After making a character you go into a few tutorials missions.  These show the basics of the gameplay.  While playing those found the menu systems very confusing.  All most didn’t make though the open part of the game because found it very boring and generic.  However stuck with it.  Once that is over the game opens up more.  Did a few more beginner missions.  That was more fun.  Think I am going to try some more of this game out.

U2 – Where The Streets Have No Name
