Ghost Recon Breakpoint Open Beta Hands On

This is the third time I tired out Ghost Recon Breakpoint in some from of beta.  After giving it another quick try and more impressed with the game.  First off they fixed the motorcycle problem.  In the last beta when you let go of the gas the bike would come to a dead stop.  Now there is some momentum and they seem to handle better.  They have all so improved the character movement.  Said before I would be getting a copy.  Will be getting a copy day one now.

Wreckfest Ordered A Copy

Yes, talking about Wreckfest again.  This time because I got around to ordering a copy of Amazon.ca.  When I went to order it has a nice surprise they put the price back down to $40.00.  Before it was out they had it for pre-order for that price.  Don’t like to pre-order games.  So I waited.  When the game came out they price went up to $55.00.  Which is not bad for such a great game.  However I am happy a waited an extra week before checking again.  The game should be here sometime this week.

PlayStation Plus October 2019 Game’s Line-up

The list of free game for PlayStation Plus members for October 2019 is now out.  Oh man, it is a big one this time, two AAA games.  Played the first one back on the PS3 and have wanted to try the remastered version.  Now I can.  The other is a baseball game.  You can start downloading them October 1, 2019.  You can all so read the official blog post > here.

Harvey Danger – Flagpole Sitta

Once again musical throwback Thursday.  The pick this week is one I haven’t heard in a very long time, Flagpole Sitta by Harvey Danger.  It is a bit of a one hit wonder.  That being said think it still sounds good.  You can listen/watch for yourself > here or below.  The song is off their first album, Where Have All The Merrymakers Gone, released in 1997.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint Open Beta

With the release date (October 6, 2019) for Ghost Recon Breakpoint they are running an open beta this weekend.  It will run from September 26 to 29.  I tired the beta in a tech test and in a closed beta.  Very much like what I tired.  It has what made the game before it, Wildlands, with so much more.  There is many layers to this game.  Am sure there will be lots more once I get my hands on a full release.  If you are on the fences, the beta is a good change to check it out.  I might just give this beta a try even though I will be buying the game.

PlayStation: State Of Play September 2019

There is a new PlayStation: State Of Play.  This is the third time they did one of these.  Remember the last one wasn’t that great.  They build this hype around these videos and they are nothing more then a video blog post.  This ones is a bit different.  It was longer and it seems they put more effort into it.  The announced a bunch of stuff.  A of it was VR related.   The big game they talked about is The Last of Us Part 2.  Which will be out in February 2020.  Looking forward to trying that one out.  You can see the video > here or below.

Topps WWE Summer Slam 2019 Card Packs

Came across some Topps WWE Sumer Slam 2019 card packs.  A few years ago bought some Topps Walking Dead card boxset.  Like the idea of colleting cards.  However it can cost too much to get a full set.  Then what do you do with them.  It’s not like they are easy to display.  That being said I just had to buy two of these card packs.  These ones are different then the standard pack you might find.  It is the “More Value” pack which comes with 20 cards with an asterisk, “Packs with special insert may contain only 17-19 cards”.   The standard set has seven cards.  I have not opened them yet.  Plan to mark a video for  the, I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry, YouTube channel.

Crash Bandicoot 2 – Cortex Strikes Back: Free Play Day – Part 5

In this weeks video for the YouTube Channel, I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry, the last part in a five part series. The idea is to play one game from start to finish and have it take place over multiple videos. One my favourites is Crash Bandicoot 2 – Cortex Strikes Back. It is prefect for this setup. Since each section is made up of five levels then a boss. Each video will consist of that format. Along the way will keep track of how many times I die. If you stick to the end you will see how many times I died over all. A bit of a spoiler, it was a lot. Over all had lots of fun putting these videos together. No Man’s Sky Once Again

Have been spending a lot of time play No Man’s Sky since the Beyond came out in the middle of August (2019).   Think I put in another twenty hours or more in.  Have finished one of my goals which was to unlock all the slots in my suite.  Now I have started trying out the base building stuff.  Found a some what planet with good weather.  The only downside with this one is the are animals that keep attacking me.  Another thing they added Power.  You can make things that need to run off electricity.  Plan to give that a go as well.  There is some much in the game I never touched yet.  It is pretty much endless.  That is what is so great about it.   You can do what you want at your own pace.  If you are still on the fence about getting this game.  Now is the time.
