Batman: Broken City

Was going though my trade paperbacks collection and found some I had for years and years but never read.  The first one is Batman: Broken City.  Looked it up and this trade came out back in 2005.  Can’t remember when I got it but think it was years later.  Only read the first haft so far.  Must say the story and art are really good.  You can tell by the art the artist were inspired by Frank Miller.

DC Universe Infinite

The online comic services DC Universe Infinite has been in Canada since March 2022.  Have blogged about this before and really would like to try it out.  However unlike in the states which lets you user a computer there is only the app version here.  Don’t own a device that can run this.   I have an Samsung Galaxy Tab 4.  Which I bought eight years ago.  So don’t think that will work.  But may be it’s worth a try to see it if will connect to the internet.

PlayStation 5 – Setup

Yet up my PlayStation 5 after work yesterday day (January 28, 2023).  It is a very simple and easy process.  The day before spent time moving my PS4 games over to an extremal hard drive.  Then backed up my save files to a USB stick.  When I was done setting my the PS5 shut it it down.  Plugged in the hard drive and USB stick.  Then turned it back on.  It picked them up right way and could see my games.  So next transferred over the save files.  That took a bit of time.  After that put the code in for God of War Ragnarok.  The game is about 100GB so when that was downloading in the background.  Loaded up the built in game,  Astro’s Playroom.  The game is designed to show off all the features of the new controller.  Played that for a bit.  After that wanted to try out a PS4 game.  So started DiRT 5 which was on the hard drive.  As soon as I clicked on it the PS5 crashed.  Well shit.  Turned it back on it went some repair screens.  Then is said I didn’t disconnect the hard drive properly.  Tired again and it worked fine.  Plan to give God of War Ragnarok a try today.

Sennheiser HD 400S

Have had Sennheiser HD 400S headphones for bit over two weeks now.  Am liking them a lot.  Way more comfortable then the Sony ones I had before.  All so like the wire.  It only attaches to the right side.  Haven’t gotten it hocked on anything or pulled off my head.  The build quality is really good as well.  There is much plastic creaking when you move your head.  Am sure they will last for years.

PlayStation 5 – Got One

After missing out a few times I managed to get my hands on a PlayStation 5 today (January 27, 2023).   Yesterday was over at Walmart picking up a few things.  Looked in the electronics section and seen they had four in stock.  Didn’t have my gift cards with me.  So today after work today went back and there four will still there.  Got the disc version which comes with a code for God of War Ragnarok.  Haven’t set it up.  Need to backup my games and save files off the PS4 first.  Then when I am setting up the PS5 will transfer to it.

Black Eyed Peas – Meet Me Halfway

Once again it is musical throwback Thursday.   The pick this time is Meet Me Halfway by the Black Eyed Peas.  It has been a few years since I picked one of their songs.  This is off their 2009 album The E.N.D..  Still hear this every now and again over the radio at work.  Think it holds up well.  You can give it a listen > here or below.

Leffis 3 Pack Comic Book Storage Ordered

About a week ago so made a post taking about trying to get my trades and graphic novels organized.  Was looking at getting the three pack Leffis comic book storage boxes.  This set > here over at Amazon.ca.   Well decided to ordered it.  The only down side is it will not be deceived until some time early February (2023).  It will be nice to get all my books organized and put away.

Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham

We now know what the next DC Universe Animated Original movie is, Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham.  This is based off a comic of the same name.   It has Batman talking on the bad guys in the 1920’s.  Have had the trade paperback on my to buy list for awhile.  Just might get that and will be buying a copy of this on Blu-ray when it’s out March 28, 2023.  But before that, Legion of Super-Heroes, will be out February 7, 2023.  You can see the Batman trailer > here or below.

GTA Online: Taxi

It has been a long time since I played or talked about Grand Theft Auto Online.   About a week ago played some on my mini PC.  Was at a game night and we played a bunch of missions.  A lot has changed since I lasted played on my PS4.  So starting over with a new character was interesting and overwhelming at the same time.  The reason I am talking about this is because there is a new update out that lets you drive for and/or run a Taxi company.  Think this is a cool idea.  While I haven’t tired it out yet but when I do will be back with another post.  You can read all the update has to offer > here.

New World Level 60

A few nights ago made it to level 60 in New World.   This is the level cap in the game however like others this is when you start to go after better gear score and stuff.  Put in about over 90 hours and still haven’t been to all the parts of the map yet.  Taking my time doing the side missions in each section.  There is still lots to do so don’t think I will stop playing this any time soon.
