Want to wish every one a Happy New Year/Eve. 2011 was another great year. Only a few more hours left then it will be a brand new year. Looking forward to an even bigger and better 2012. As for this blog, it has grown so much this year. If this keeps up 2012 will be even bigger.
Planning to get myself a Kobo Vox as a Christmas gift to myself. Most years I get myself something after all the sales are on. Gave my mother the Kobo Touch as a Christmas gift. She really loves it. While I am not a big reader, I do like to read. Like the Vox because it has a colour screen and has tablet like features. All so I will be able to get and read graphic novels/comic books on it.
Went out last night during the Boxing week sales to see if I could get one. Have two gift cards to Future Shop. But they didn’t have any left. Well go back in a week or so. May be by then they will have more in stock.
Yesterday after talking about getting the Game of Thrones books for Christmas. I had too see then the DVD and or Blu-ray were going out for the first season. All so when the new season was going to start. Well the first season will be out March 6, 2012. Will be picking that up for sure. Season two will start some time in April 2012. So that is not too far away. Read the first two chapters of the first book. Have to say the show is pretty spot on.
Another gift I received is the boxed set of the first four books in the Game of Thrones series. After seen the first season of the show I just had to read the books it is based on. I am for a lot of reading each book is pretty big with real small font, well at for the first book any way. I know there is a fifth book out but will pick that one up after I finish these four. By the way I read that will take a really long time. Years even, lol.
Received Assassin’s Creed: Revelations as a Christmas gift. Love these games so I was really happy to see it under the tree. Only got to try the first “level” so far. It is very much like the last two games. But there are some changes I have noticed. There seems to be two weapons wheels, one for main weapons and another for secondary ones. Once the game loaded up and started to play the game looks great. Got thinking if you are new to the series you might not have any idea what is going on. They do have flash back part at the begin but is seemed only to server those who might have forgotten the story line. Then again I could be wrong. Just looking forward to playing more. Speaking of which enough typing, more playing.
I hope everyone had a fun and safe Christmas. I had a very nice one. It was very laid back with lots of good food. Only went back for seconds this year. Use real butter in the mashed potatoes again this year. They were so good with the gravy. The radio played Christmas music all day. Later in the night we sat down and watched the Shrek marathon. While eating more. Haven’t been this full since last Christmas.
I want to wish every one and their families a Merry Christmas. I hope every one has the best one ever. Eat till you can’t eat any more. That is all ways the best part. There is all ways something about Christmas dinner where you have to go back for thirds.

The video clip (below) called Christmas Carolling with Roddy Piper is from this years Air Farce New Years special. This years show is called Air Farce Not New Years Eve special. It is called this because unlike past years this one will be aired on New Years day instead of New Years Eve. Look forward to see what still things the will come up with. By this clip it is going to be a great show.
I about a week series eighteen Top Gear will start off with their Christmas special. The 28 of December is the day. Then in January the show will start airing. Didn’t think my blog would ever reach 100,000 views. When I stared blogging back in January 2008 just to see if I could do it. Heading into the fifth year looking forward to keep this going.
