The Grand Tour: Sand Job

There is a bit of news to share about the next, The Grand Tour special.  it will be called Sand Job.   According to IMDB it will be out in February (2024).   Which it not too far way now.  Just don’t know what day in that month.   Hoping they will put out a trailer soon-ish.  From what I have been reading this and there will be one more episdoe.  Then the show will be over.   All so, hope that’s not true.  Time will tell.

New World – Hours Played

It has been awhile since I blogged about New World.  Have well over 300 hours played.  Am still really enjoy the game, however don’t play as much now.  About once a week.  Have been way too busy.  All so have gotten really into Forza Horizon 4.  That is easy to jump in and out of.  Pretty sure some time this year the New World DLC will go on sale and I’ll buy it.  That will get me back into the game more.

Stranger Things Holiday Specials (Graphic Novel)

Have read that last season (number five) of Stranger Things has started filming.  While I was on Amazon.ca ordering an graphic novel.  Did a search for Stranger Things and seen that there are graphic novels for this.  Thought that was cool so decided to buy, Stranger Things Holiday Specials.  This is a collections of three themed stories.  If I like it, might get some more.   Looks like there is a bunch of them.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin – Lost Years

Have blogged about it a few times now, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin – Lost Years hardcover trade.   Well I finely ordered a copy.  Keep forgetting about it.  Was on Amazon.ca looking at some other books so getting this and two others.  They should be here next week.  Very much looking forward to reading this.  Will be back with a review at some point.

Low Poly TMNT – Update

It was back in November (2023) that I seen this > here, a low ploy Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle 3D model over at Printables.com.  Had scaled it down to get the supports just right before making it full size.  The small one printed off fine but then ran into trouble with my printer.  However have it working again.  So printed off a bigger version.   It turned out really good.  Think I will print three more and paint them at some point.  Then maybe after make an even bigger one.

Leonardo 3D Model

Have seen this cool and big 3D model > here over at Printables.com.   It is of Leonardo from TMNT.  As you may know I am a big fan.  Got thinking maybe I should try this out.  But first I might make a smaller version.  This one would take up the full build plate.  That means it would take a very long time to print.  In the mean time bookmarked the link.

Midnight Oil – Beds Are Burning

Once again it is musical throwback Thursday.  The pick this time is Beds are Burning by Midnight Oil.  Can remember this being a big hit here in the 80’s.  The song is off their 1987 album Diesel and Dust.   This is a classic and still holds up.  You can give a remastered version a listen > here or below.

Card Deck Box 3D Model – Done

Happy to say the card deck box > here over at Thiniverse.com I was working is done.  It my last post on this talked about adding a logo to the cover with Tinkercad.  It’s a bit hard to tell from the picture below but it did work.  My next step is to dig out my old Turtles cards and but them in the box.  All so thing about buying some plastic sleeves for them.

 

AEW 2022 Allure Trading Cards

Said to myself a little while back that I wouldn’t buy any more AEW trading cards.  Well I have failed.  Was walking to the check out and seen that Walmart had single packs of AEW 2022 Allure there.  So bought two packs.  Not to sure what makes this different from the other I bought.  Haven’t open them yet.  But if the at not very good will not buy any more.

Card Deck Box 3D Model Update

A few posts back talked about the commander deck box > here over at Thiniverse.com.  Well took the cover part into Tinkercad to see if I could add a logo to it.  Did manage to do that without any trouble.  Next wanted to see how well it would print.  But scaled it down so I wouldn’t waste too much filament it it has failed.  Happy to report that was fine as well.  Now going to print both part a the full size.  Fingers crossed it turns out good.
