Lets Talk Medal of Honor

In this weeks video for the YouTube Channel, I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry.  Talk about Medal of Honor (1999).  This is one of the first games to ever pull me into its world on the PlayStation. There was real tension in the air.  By today’s standards it’s very basic. That being said there is still fun to be had playing this.  Back in the day played so much. Could get though the first level without taking a hit.  Didn’t have that luck this time round capturing the footage.  Still think this game is well worth your time.  You can see the video > here or below.

The Highwaymen Trailer

There is or will be (depending when this is posted) a good looking movie coming to Netflix, The Highwaymen.  The story is, two Texas Ranger’s try to track down Bonnie & Clyde.  To put a stop to there robbery and killing spree.  It has some big stars in it.  Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson are the two main actors.  Have watched the trailer three times.  You can see that > here or below.  Will be adding this to my watch list.  It will be on Netflix March 29, 2019.

James May’s Travel Show

With the third season of The Grand Tour all most over.  There is a post on Drive Tribe > here that James May is making a six part travel show about Japan.   Which will be on Amazon Prime.  All three of them have hosted many things solo.  Have seen many of James May’s.  He is all ways funny and entertaining.  Not sure when this will be on Prime.  Since they are filming it now.  My guess it will be on there some time in the fall.  As for the name.  Wikipedia has it titled Our Man In…Japan.  Will be keeping an eye on this for more news.

Chumbawamba – Tubthumping

Time again for musical throwback Thursday.  Got thinking I should pick a one hit wonder for the song this week.  One of the most famous is Tubthumping by Chumbawamba.  Can remember this being on the radio all the time as well on TV.  This was released in 1997.  On their album Tubthumper.  Think it holds up well.  You can give it a watch/listen > here or below.

The Division 2 Update

As I am typing this (March 22, 2019) have had The Division 2 for a week.  So far have played about eight hours and am at level 6.  Am liking this game a lot.  It is much like the first game but way better at the same time.  There is a lot more to look at and do.  There is all so a lot more loot to be found.  Finding it all over the place.   It pays to look around the open word.  Think the biggest change is the AI.  They all ways try an flak you.  In the first game you could pretty much stay in one cover spot and be fine.  This time around you have to move carefully. Have died a few times.  Because I got overwhelmed.  Just have to change the way I play.  Having fun so far.  Well worth the money.

PlayStation: State Of Play

A lot of game companies have been doing live streams or videos on upcoming games for many years now.  Sony is getting into it now as well.  Yesterday (March 25, 2019) they had their first “episode” of what they are calling State of Play.  It is designed to show case upcoming PS4 and PS VR games.  They will/did have new game announcements with gameplay as well.   Missed the live stream.  However they uploaded it later so we can all see if you missed out as well.  You can give it a watch > here or below.

Was a bit underwhelmed with this video.  The only thing that stood out for me is the new big update for No Man’s Sky.  It will add true multiplayer.  In this video the update will all so make the full game playable in VR.  Think that would be cool to try.

Justice League vs The Fatal Five

All most forgot to blog about this.  The next DC Universe Animated Original movie will be out soon.  It is called Justice League vs The Fatal Five.  This storyline takes place in the same time as the Batman: The Animated Series and the Justice League tv shows.  It will be on digital platforms March 30 and the on Disc’s April 16, 2019.  You can see the trailer > here or below.  Will be getting a copy.  Own all the other films.  So, why stop now.

In this weeks video for the YouTube Channel, I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry.  Talk about light gun shooters on the PlayStation 2.  Been a big fan of light gun games ever since I played Duck Hunt on the NES.  Flash forward to the PlayStation 2 days. Which had many awesome ones. In the video I talk about three I own. They are hard to play now a days since you need a CRT TV for them to work right. Funko – Mystery Minis

With the last season of Game of Thrones just around the corner.  Seen a local store had a sale of Funko vinyls Mystery Minis.  They had some of Game of Thrones Series 3 left.  Have three all ready from this series.  So wasn’t going to buy any more since I didn’t want to end up with one I all ready had.  But then decided to buy two.  Has been about six months since I last bought a Funko product.  Think I might be getting addicted again.  The two I got are Samwell Tarly and Daenerys Targaryen (Meereen).

Game Of Thrones Season 8 Episodes Info

Less then a month to go before season eight of Game of Thrones starts.  It has been long rumored that the six episodes would have longer run times.  Well HBO has put out info on when each episode airs and how long they will be.  The first two will be just shy of an hour.  Then rest will about two hours long.  So the total run time will be about the same as past seasons.  Mark your calendars for April 14, 2019.
