Stardew Valley

Talking about Stardew Valley again.  Because I bought it.  This is a very charming game.  There is lots of detail for its 16bit look.  All so lots to do.  There is farming of course.  Then there is fishing, exploring, mining and crafting.  That is just some of it.  The town is full of people to interact with.  It is all so an RPG as well.  You are levelling these things up as you play.  You unlock new items and recipes at a good pace.

The only thing I don’t like it the clock.  It runs much to fast.  I understand why they did it that way.  Is so you will playing though the four seasons faster.   Each one offers different elements to the gameplay.  So far I am still in spring.  This is the one you start off in.

While the game is pretty cool.  Just can’t play if for every long in one sitting.  Find I get bored.  So will most like just play a day or two in game time.  The play something else.  Then go back to it.

DiRT 4

On January 26, 2017 Codemasters announcing DiRT 4 is coming out this year.  This is awesome news.  I love these games.  In the announcement they talked about a new feature called Your Stage.  This allows you to make your own rally stage.  With a press of a few buttons.  Which can be made very quickly or you can get right into more detail of make your own.  These of course they can be shared.  Think this this is pretty cool.  They all so put out a small teaser video.  Which you can watch > here or below.  The best about about this is, we don’t have wait too long because it will be out in June (2017).

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Gameplay

GameSpot has posted a nice gameplay video for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands.  It is a full mission playthrough.  This game is designed for up to four player co-op.   However game is all so designed to played single player as well.  The video shows how how that works.  The people are not playing the game.  One of the PR people are.  While a staff member asks questions.

The game has been on my radar for a while.  Must say it looks really good.  After watching the twenty minute video > here or below.  Looks like I could have fun playing this game.  Did put on name on the list for the closed beta.  Hope I get picked really want to try this game out.

Sleep Apnea Test

I am being tested for sleep apnea.  Am tired all the time so the doctor said I should get tested.  Know a few people that bee been tested before.  It’s know big deal.  They just have to wear a contraption on their head. With tubs going into their nose.  The one I got to use is petty small.  It’s a blue box with some tubs.  Had sensors inside the head band that track stuff.  Wear it for one night.  Take the device back the place.  Then with in five days the will seen the results to the doctor.   If I do have will have to buy some kind of machine I guess.

Stardew Valley

Have been eyeballing Stardew Valley every since it came out on consoles this past December (2016).  Have watched some game play video.  It looks like a game I would like to play.  Think I am going to buy it.  Was going to wait for a sale.  The thing is the game is new so don’t think there will be on sale any time soon.  Do believe in the Canadian PlayStation Store it’s going for $20.

Technotronic – Pump Up The Jam

Musical throwback Thursday once again.  The song this week is Pump Up The Jam by Technotronic.  This was a huge hit back in 1990.  Over the years you can still hear it.  They play it a lot of sports events.  All so has been used in many TV shows and movies.  The song is off their 1989 album called Pump Up the Jam: The Album.  Sure, the lyrics are a bit dated now.  However the beat is still great.  Give it a listen > here or below.

Logan Trailer Two

Back in October (2016) talked about the first trailer for the up coming movie, Logan.  In that post said, “Wasn’t a fan of the first two standalone movies.“  This movie on the other hand looks awesome.  Well they put out one more trailer.  Watched it about four times and just know it will make of for the other two movies.  This will be an R rated so they can get away with more.  Which I think is a good thing.  You can see for yourself with what some of that stuff will be in the trailer > here or below.  The movie is out March 3, 2017.

Watch Dogs 2 Review

Finished all the main and the side mission in Watch Dogs 2.  Just of some extra stuff to do.  So think its time for a review.  Over all had lots of fun with this game.  It is leagues ahead of the first game.  It plays better and looks better.  The story is really good as well.  More light hearted.  All the characters a lot more enjoy able to listen too.  You can tell the game makers listened to what the players had to say.  The only thing  I didn’t really like was.  They did improve the motorcycle handling but not enough.

Had a blast playing this game.  The hacking puzzles worked like they did in the first game.  But they were much easier to figure out but still challenging .  Which is a good thing.  Only had to look up help once.  Did not try the online modes.  so can’t talk about them . This game didn’t seem to get a lot of buzz.  I think it is well worth your time and money.

Fitbit Charge

Have owned a Fitbit Charge model for about a year now.  The main reason I bought one was to track my sleep.  I get very poor sleep most of the time.  On average according the the tracker.  I wakeup/restless 40 times over a six hour period.  Know its not going to be one hundred percent accurate.  But a good guide.  Took this information to the doctor.  She said that’s not good.  Have to go get tested for sleep apnea.

Over all I like this device.  The tracking of sleep is cool.  It is all so nice see how many steps I take at work.  The only problem I have with it is.  It’s falling a part.  The strap on both sides has cracked off from the computer part.  Now the rest of the plastic/rubber bits are cracked or separated.  It still works fine.  Will keep using it until it breaks.  Think the newer models would hold up much better.

Nine Years of WordPress

Back on January 21, 2017 marked nine years I have been on WordPress writing this blog.  My goal back when I started was to see if I could make a post everyday and see how long I could keep doing it.  Did struggle for while.  However has I kept at it.  It got easier.   The main tip I can give is to have three to four post written and ready to go.  That way you can make a post right way.  Then all you have do is write a new to replace the one you just posted.

My goal this years is to fix the blog up a bit.  Want to organize the categories better.  To make it easier to find stuff.  Going to make a new header as well.  The one there now has been there since 2013.  Time for a new one I think.
