Photobucket Stopped 3rd Party Hosting

Received an interesting email this morning from Photobucket.  It read, “We noticed that you have been using Photobucket for 3rd party hosting.  To restore you 3rd party hosted images.  Please upgrade to a Plus 500 plan.”   Have been using Photobucket since 2008 to post pictures to this very blog.  Have never had a problem.  At some point they changed their terms of service.  Not sure why they did this.  Because a lots of people uses their service to do what I do or post pictures to messages boards and Ebay.  If they are thing all this people will upgrade to get this feature back.  The thing is there is only one plan that lets you host on other websites.  That is the Plus 500 Plan costing $400.00 a year.  So, think there will be a lot of people leaving.  I plan to wait a few days to see if they change their minds.  If not will have to live with broken links on my site.  Then find another photo hosting site.

Will Smith – Wild Wild West ft. Dru Hill, Kool Mo Dee

Time again for musical throwback Thursday.  This weeks song this is Wild Wild West by Will Smith.  This was made to go a long with the movie which shares the small name, Wild Wild West.  Which stars Will Smith.  He did a lot of movies were he made a song to go a long with it.  The thing is this song was way better than the movie ever was.  You can see the music video > here or below.

Funko Pop Vinyl – The Witcher – Geralt

Have mostly been collecting the Funko vinyls Mystery Minis.  But do own four the POP line.  Well have one more now.  Was in at the comic book store and seen that they had all kinds of new ones.  They had a section for one from games.  Then seen Geralt from The Witcher games.  Am a huge have of the third game.  So couldn’t pass it up.  Have to say the POP vinyl’s get better looking all the time.  More detail in the paint makes them so much nicer.

Outlander Video Game

Back in the day my brother loved to play the Sega Genesis version of the game Outlander.  When playing it we wouldn’t get every far.  It was a tough game.  All so we didn’t understand what was going on.  Well all these years later.  Thanks to emulation and save states.  Also years of gaming.  It still tough but makes senses.

If you never seen it before.  It looks like that Mad Max movie.  After looking up info on the game.  Found out was being developed as a Mad Max game. But they lost the license.  So they changed the name.  What makes this game standout.  Is there are two different game play styles.  First you are driving.  Avoiding things and shooting at the bad guys.  Then at points in the game you have to pull over.  Then the game switches to on foot.  Where you beat up/shoot the bad guys to get supplies.  However at any time you can pull over.  It is you just might not get enough supplies. It is any interesting game.  Just every repetitive.

POLYMEGA

Back in February (2017) learned about a cool new device that would let you play your classic video games on new TV’s.  It was called RetroBlox.  They have since changed their name to POLYMEGA.   There are all kinds of devices that do this does. What makes this one standout.  It doesn’t emulate the games.  It reads them like the original machines do.  The other big differences is the modules.  Which they call Element Modules.  The base unit has a optical disc drive.  Which you can play PlayStation one, TurboGrafx-CD, Sega Cd and Neo Geo CD games.  On the base unit you place the modules.  There are ones for NES, SNES, Genesis and TurboGrafx-16.  You can use the controller that comes with it.  Or you can plug in your classic controllers that go along with ever module you using.

There is know news on a price point for the base your modules yet or when it will be out.  It does look and sound pretty cool.  Don’t think it for everyone. But if you are into colleting retro games or have some games you would like to play again.  It could be a great option.

The Walking Dead Volume 28: A Certain Doom

All ready made a post about the next The Walking Dead trade paperback, back in May (2017).  In that post guessed that the next volume, 28, would be out some time in September.  Now that I have finished reading Volume 27: The Whisperer War.  Decided to look to see if there was any new info out.  Turns out there is.  The next is, Volume 28: A Certain Doom.   Both Amazon.ca and Indigo.ca have it listed a release date of October 3, 2017.  So added it to my list.

Game of Thrones Season 7: Official Trailer #2

It is less than a month to go before the start of season seven for Game of Thrones.  Back on June 21, 2017 HBO put out a second trailer for the season.  The first trailer was out in May.  If you missed that one or want to see it again.  You can do so > here.  This new one makes the season look even more epic.  Think there are going to be many big battles.  We will find out starting July 16, 2017.  You can see the new trailer > here or below.

PlayStation Store Flash Sale June 2017

The trend continues.  Every month this year there has been a flash sale on the PlayStation Store.  Just like the other sales.  It covers the three platforms as well as movies/TV.  There seems to be wide mix of games.  There are some that have been on sale before.  Which kind of sucks.  However there are lots that haven’t been is these flash sales before.  Think the best deals are for the PlayStation 3.  The sales starts today (June 23, 2017) and ends on the 26th.  You can see the full list > here.

AIR – Kelly Watch The Stars

That day of the week again, musical throwback Thursday.  The song this week is Kelly Watch The Stars by AIR.  This is off their first album called Moon Safari.  Which was released in 1998.  Have not heard this song in a years.  Enjoyed it back then.  After listening to it again today, still enjoy this song.  It holds up well.  You can see the music video > here or below.

The Walking Dead: Season Seven Blu-ray

Just like that past few seasons.  The Walking Dead season seven Blu-ray/DVD will be out in August.  Not 100 percent sure the date yet.  But Amazon.ca and .com have it listed to be out August 22, 2017.  Love this show and own all the seasons so will be having this one as well.  Am sure there will be all kinds a extras and audio commentaries.  Looking forward to re-watching this awesome season all over again.
