Game of Thrones: Season 8 Re-Watch

For the past couple of years was planning on re-watching season eight of Game of Thrones.  But ever got around to it.  Did watch the season when it came out back in 2019.  The when the blu-ray set was out, bought it.  Like there other seasons it sits on my shelf, just unopened.  So thinking it is time to watch them again. Since it has been so long may be I will like it even more or not.

PlayStation Plus March 2022 Game’s Line-up

The list of free games for PlayStation Plus members for March 2022 is out. There are some pretty big named games on the list.  One I all ready have, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends.  For those who haven’t played the main game.  Will get a taste of what it feels like, kind of.  You can read the official blog post > here.  Then start downloading March 1, 2022.

No Man’s Sky Expedition: Exobiology

Have been posting a lot about No Man’s Sky as of late.  Over a week ago they put out the update called Sentinel.  In the patch notes they said a new expedition was on they way.  Well on February 24, 2022 this new expedition called Exobiology started.  It will run about Six weeks.  This is the fifth expedition.  Have done all the others so will be giving this one a go as well.

No Man’s Sky Sentinel Update – Royal Multitool

This past weekend gave the new No Man’s Sky update Sentinel a try.  Well didn’t try all the new things they added.  Just wanted to get the new multitool type they added called the Royal.  it comes in a bunch of different colours.  Watched some videos on how to get these but it seems a bit too much work.  So looked up other videos were people all ready have some found and marked out.  Survival Bob put out a great video, (which you can see > here or below) that shows five different ones.  Wanted a blue one and lucky this videos shows how to get that one easily.  Now my goal is to upgrade it.

The Black Keys – Lonely Boy

That time once again for musical throwback Thursday.  The pick this week is Lonely Boy by The Black Keys.  This was released in 2011 off their album El Camino.  It is such a great song and the music video is a classic.  Which you can listen/watch > here or below.

Halo 3 Multiplayer

Took a trip done video game memory lane this past weekend.  A bunch of us played some Halo 3 multiplayer.  Think the last time I played that was around 2008/09.  Must say the game holds up well.  Sure it doesn’t have some of the features of modern FPS but there is lots of fun to be had.  We had and Xbox One and a Xbox 360 hooked together over and ethernet cable.  It worked great.  We played a bunch of classic slayer rounds.  Some of the maps I remembered and other not so much.  Thinking we will be giving it another try at the next game night.

TMNT Leonardo 1988 Articulated Print-In-Place 3D Model

Follow a few 3D printing pages on Facebook.  Saw something very cool that someone shared.  It is a TMNT Leonardo model.  What makes this one standout is it looks like the 1988 toy. Which I still own one.  So when I see the pictures it looks really close to that real thing.  There more great things about this model as well.  It is articulated, meaning the arms and legs move.  Thinking about buy the model.  Which you can see > here.  It costs $5.11 Canadian (As I am typing this February 19, 2022).

Stranger Things Season Four And Five News

Back in November (2021) we got a teaser trailer for season four of Stranger Things.  There is some new news out now.  Season four will be in two parts. Volume one will be out on Netflix May 27, 2022.  Then the second volume will be on July 1.  So that is not really a long time between, which is nice.  The other news is that season five will be the last.   Not sure how long we will have to wait for season five.  Just hope it’s not years.

Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series Trailer

Another classic game series is getting a remaster.  This time it is the platformer Klonoa.  Can remember playing the demo for the first game a lot.  It was on a demo disc from the Official PlayStation Magazine in the PlayStation one days.  The gameplay was very solid.  This remaster will contain the first two games in what they calling, Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series.  It will be on every system.  They only announced the date for the Switch version so far, July 8, 2022.  This remaster does look really good.  You can see for yourself > here (or below) with the trailer.

No Man’s Sky Sentinel Update

A few days ago a new update came out of No Man’s Sky called Sentinel.  From the YouTube description, “Fight alongside your own personal robotic companions and battle an array of new foes in the SENTINEL update! Introducing a total overhaul of weapon systems; new lore and stories; all-new Sentinel enemies and combat behaviours; the ability to reprogram and adopt your very own friendly AI drone; and much, much more!”   While I haven’t tired it out yet.  Did see some videos and it looks awesome.  Like the fact that can six multitools.  It was three.  They all so fixed up the mechs movement and speed.  Which I will be trying out for sure.  There will all so be a new expedition out soon as well.  Give this update trailer a watch > here or below.
