No Man’s Sky Expedition: Leviathan

The seventh expedition, Leviathan, has been out for about two week now for No Man’s Sky.  Did complete all the others.  However don’t think I will be with this one.  While I like the idea of permadeath/roguelike they have setup.  It is just not for me.  Going to give it one more try and see how far I can get.  But know I will die again and will just stop playing.

No Man’s Sky Expedition: Leviathan

Great news to share.  There is a new expedition out now (May 25, 2022) for No Man’s Sky.  This seventh one is called Leviathan.  While I haven’t tired it yet.  Have read the website.  This one will play much different than the others.  You are stuck in a time loop.  Meaning it has roguelike elements.  So when you die the loop resets.  Not sure that will work yet.  Thinking I will most likely be needing to watch some YouTube to finish this.  You can check out the trailer > here or below.

No Man’s Sky Expedition: The Blighted Finished

Finished up the newest (Number Six) No Man’s Sky expedition, The Blighted a few days ago.  This one took me about eight hours to complete.  Am sure it can be done faster but I like taking my time.  Over all think this was the best expedition so far.  While the others were fun.  This one was more straightforward.  There were only two goals I need to look up help for.  As I am typing his (April 21, 2022) there is still five to four weeks to go before it ends.  So there is still lots of time to give this a go.  Well worth doing.

Am all most finished the newest (Number Six) No Man’s Sky expedition, The Blighted.  So far really liking this one.  The the goals are straight forward.  But did look up some help to make it a bit easier/time saving.  With the the Outlaw update that came out the day before this expedition the flying combat is much more enjoyable.  Thinking I will be able to finish this in the next day or so.  At this point have put a about six hours into it.

No Man’s Sky Expedition: The Blighted

A day after the new update for No Man’s Sky was out, called Outlaw.  The sixth expedition started, The Blighted.  Was off that day so managed to get the first phase done.  So far this one plays some what like there others, while adding different goals.  Like the others this will run for about five weeks.  With past expeditions I did run into some trouble with some of the goals.  That is where YouTube comes into help.  Just some times you have to wait a day or two to get the answers.

No Man’s Sky Outlaw Update

Posted in Just something to say, Videos with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on April 13, 2022 by getbent57

Nice surprise today.  There is a new update for No Man’s Sky called Outlaw.  In the last big update Sentinel they over hauled the combat.  Now the are doing that with the ship combat.  Of course there is more too it than that.  You can read everything it does by clicking the link above.  Some stands out for me are the new starship class, Solar Ships. They look pretty cool.  All so they add high capacity cargo to your ships.  Another good thing is you can own nine ships now.  It all looks and sounds awesome.  You can check out the trailer > here or below.  Not sure when I will get to try this out but will download it now.

No Man’s Sky Expedition: Exobiology Finished

Posted in Just something to say with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on March 15, 2022 by getbent57

A few nights ago finished the No Man’s Sky expedition Exobiology.   Took me about 14 hours to complete.  Am sure I could have done it faster but was enjoying taking my time.  Did play the other four expeditions and must say this one was my favourite.  While I did have to look up some help with some of the tasks.  The rest were simpler to do.  If you haven’t gave this one a try yet.  Do believe (as I am typing this March 11, 2022) there is three weeks left before it ends.

Have been working my way though the new No Man’s Sky expedition Exobiology.  Some of the tasks are pretty easy.  Other just take more time.  There there are a bunch I had know idea how to complete.  That is were YouTube came to help.  There are lots of great No Man’s Sky channels.  Came across one I never seen before and he did a great job show how to complete some of the hard tasks.   Like collecting the different types of milk and eggs.  As well as find the Beetles.  The user is Beeblebum.   You can see that video > here or below.

No Man’s Sky Sentinel Update – Royal Multitool

Posted in Just something to say with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on February 25, 2022 by getbent57

This past weekend gave the new No Man’s Sky update Sentinel a try.  Well didn’t try all the new things they added.  Just wanted to get the new multitool type they added called the Royal.  it comes in a bunch of different colours.  Watched some videos on how to get these but it seems a bit too much work.  So looked up other videos were people all ready have some found and marked out.  Survival Bob put out a great video, (which you can see > here or below) that shows five different ones.  Wanted a blue one and lucky this videos shows how to get that one easily.  Now my goal is to upgrade it.
