Yet another year is coming to a close. It has been another year of successful blogging. Near the end of January will be the start of the 15 year for this blog. My goal last time was to get back into making videos for my YouTube channel. Well that didn’t happen. My new goal is to do a lot more 3D printing and them paint the models. Have done a bunch all ready and enjoyed doing it. May be I’ll turn those into small videos.
This past year I have managed to print off a lot of great things with my Elegoo Neptune 2 FDM 3D printer. All so managed to paint/finish most of theses. When fall set in kind of stopped working on these projects. Missing do them, so the plan is to jump back in to it this January. Not sure how well the printer will run since it’s in a colder part of the house. Think I will just try out some small things at first. The only down side is I will not be able to prime any new model. That is because the temperature needs to be about 10c outside.
It is the last musical throwback Thursday of this year. The pick this time is Don’t You Worry Child by Swedish House Mafia. It has been many years since I have heard this awesome song. It was released in 2012 off their album Until Now. This group has been around for years off and on. They have three albums out. You can give this song a listen > here or below.
Have seen a few videos on frontend manager software for PC games on YouTube. A friend has Playnite running on his. This program is a way to display all the games you have on your computer. It doesn’t matter which game launcher you have. It can even work with emulation. There are lots of cool themes and ways to set it up. The best part is it’s free. I might give it a try on my mini PC.
Hoping to pick up some games during the Boxing Day/Week sales. Last year missed out on getting my hands on Far Cry 6. If I can’t find that in store will try Amazon.ca. Would really like to get my hands on a PS5 but that would seem unlikely. All so, may be PS4 controllers will be on sale. My plan is to go tomorrow after work to see what’s there.
Hope everyone had a fun and safe Christmas. We had a good one. Lucked out without loosing power. Feel bad for those who did. Like last year the meal turned out amazing. Have it done to a science now. Since it is Boxing day. It means time for the traditional hot turkey sandwiches, with left over stuffing and salad.
Again it will be a much different Christmas like last year. All so again trying my best to keep up with traditions. Have the big meal all planned out. Just know it will be amazing. Provided we don’t lose power. Since there is a big storm happing. I hope everyone has the best they can. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE.
Another special that needs to watch every year is, Merry Christmas Mr. Bean. Seen this so many time but still funny every time. The episdoe is 30 years old this year. It’s classic for sure. Do yourself a favourite an re-watch it > here or below.
