The list of free games for PlayStation Plus members for November 2021 is out. There is a bunch of extra games this time because PlayStation VR is celebrating an anniversary. All so one of the games, First Class Trouble, was just announced at this past weeks (October 27, 2021) Sate of Play. You can read the official blog post > here or below. We have been getting lots of great weather this October (2021). But sadly it is time to winterize my Motorcycle a, (Yamaha XT225). Can remember in some past years would wait to long to do this. Then it would be very cold on the hands. This time it was about 8c out so not bad at all. Have done this so many time it didn’t take long. Maybe about an hour. One thing I do need to do, over the winter order myself a new air filter. Didn’t take a look at the old one yet but just know it will be really dirty.
With the 2021 Dune movie out have see lots of copies of the movie tie-in paperback in stores. Have heard about novel, Dune, over the years and see some pictures of the 1984 movie. But never gave it much thought. All so has of late have been hearing lots of good about this novel. So picked up a copy while out shopping. It is a pretty big book but have read longer. Not sure how long it will take me to read but will be back with a review at some point.
That day of the week again, musical throwback Thursday. Have picked another country song again this time. It is the very famous version of The Gambler by Kenny Rogers. It is off this 1978 album of the same name, The Gambler. This song as been used in many TV/Movies over the years. Can remember seeing a TV movie where he played a gambler. Am having a good time playing No Man’s Sky, fourth Expedition (4th) called Emergence. Played the other three and this one is best so far. The goals they set were simple yet worth doing. Saying that did have to look up some help. In the others some of the goals were just a big pain to do. Another standout so far is, there is a story they are tell about the worms. I have one last set of goals to do. Will be back with an update once that is done. If you do own a copy of No Man’s sky. This is well worth the time doing. As I am typing this there should be four weeks left to do it.
There was some awesome news about Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition they other day (October 22, 2021). They put out a release date, a teaser trailer and new news. Which you can read > here. Firstly the game will be out on digital November 11, 2021. The best news there will be a physical copies for some platforms on December 7. That is what I will be going for. There trailer is > here or below. From the article, “The Definitive Edition debuts new GTAV-inspired modern controls.” When November 11 comes around will be watching videos on YouTube. If I see that games do have better controls will buy it on disc in December.
Every now and again take a walk down the toy aisle. This time I seen some small Batmobiles each with a figure. There were four, The Justice League movie, 1989 Batman, 1966 and the Animated series. At first I seen the 89 one and was going to buy it. Took a look at the back of the box and seen that there were three others. While the 89 one is very cool. I just had to buy the Animated Series Batmobile. The car looks great with lots of detail for this size. According to the website it is 1:32 scale. You can see it > here. However the figure it comes with is not so great looking. Thinking I might to back and buy the 66 and 89 ones.
There is a new PlayStation State of Play set of Wednesday October 27, 2021. From their blog post > here. It will cover upcoming third party games for the PS4 and PS5. It will run around twenty minutes. Will be live at 2:00pm PT. That is around 6:00pm in my time zone. Am on vacation so will be able to watch it has it happens. Do hope they show off something cool. Wil be back with an update if there is something that really standouts for me.
The next DC Universe Animated Original movie is called Catwoman: Hunted. Think it’s cool that they are giving Catwoman her own movie as the main character. As you can see in the trailer > here or below they are going with a different look. It has an anime style to it. While that look is not really my cup of tea. The movie does look like fun. Like all the other will be buying a copy. It is set to be out February 8, 2022.
Back in 2020 at DC FanDome they showed us a teaser trailer for The Batman. At that time it was planned to be out in October 2021. Then the world has been in a strange place. Well at this years FanDome, (2021), they put out a real good trailer. Which you can see > here or below. Oh man, it looks super awesome. I am a huge Batman fan so very much looking forward to seeing it. Might just even brave the theater. It is set to be out March 4, 2022.
