PlayStation Store Flash Sale November 2018

It is the last day of November and the PlayStation Store is running a flash sale.  They have one of these about once a month.  Look a quick look at the PlayStation 4 games list.  There seems to be a lot they haven’t had on sale before. Which is a good thing.  Not sure if I will get than thing yet.  You can see the full sale list > here.  This ends December 3, 2018.

Glass Tiger – Diamond Sun

Time again for musical throwback Thursday.  The song this week is Diamond Sun by Glass Tiger.  This band is a Canadian classic.  They had many hits in the last 80’s early 90’s.  I know others are more famous.  But Diamond Sun is the one I remember most.  It is off their their second album which shares the same name, Diamond Sun, released in 1988.  You can listen/see > here or below.

AVerMedia Live Gamer Portable 2 Plus

Was flipping though the black Friday flyers and one things caught my eye.  The AVerMedai Live Game Portable 2 Plus.  This little box lets you steam you video game, gameplay in 4k and 60fps.  Or you can capture you video to a micro SD card.  Seen some people talk about these last year some time.  Looked them up back then.  They costed hundreds of dollars.  So didn’t bother looking at it any more.  Until I seen it in the Best Buy flyer going for a $130.00.  They are so going for the game price on Amazon.ca.  Might just get one.

Fall (2018)

For years have enjoyed working on video projects.  Haven’t made one in a very long time.  All so many years now have had the idea of filming one tree to capture the leaves change during the fall.  That is what I did this year.  Filmed the same tree over nine weeks.  Put all that footage to together and come up with something I am very proud of.  You can see if for yourself > here or below.

Red Dead Online Beta

There is news to share about Red Dead Redemption 2 online part, Red Dead Online.  The beta starts tomorrow (Nov 27, 2018) for those who bought the Ultimate Edition.  On Wednesday anyone who played on launch day (October 26, 2018) will get to try it.  Then on Thursday for those who played between Oct 26th and 29th.  Lastly on Friday all those whose own the game can play.  All so tomorrow Rockstar Games will be showing off more of that online will be like. I am still not far into the game. Made it to chapter three.  Will be giving this online beta a try on Thursday.  That is my day off work.  Wil be back with many more posts about this for sure.

The Walking Dead Season 9 Halfway

As I am typing this (November 25, 2018) there is only one episode left in the first half of season nine for The Walking Dead.  Have been a fan of this show since day one.  I know there are a lot of people on the internet complaining about the past few seasons.  I think the show is good as ever.  As for season nine it is pretty awesome.  They have add lots of great new things.  Not going to spoil anything.  Will say this years bad guys will be the best the show has had ever.  Have read the comic books so I have some ideas on how it will play out.  But to see in live action will be very special.  The second half of the season will show more of these guys.   They all so add some mystery back into the show.  Which leaves you wanting to know what happened or what will happen.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

If you have every stopped by this blog you will know I am a huge fan of the Assassin’s Creed games.  The newest one out is Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.  It was released on October 5, 2018.  Didn’t pick it up right way because a few weeks later Red Dead Redemption 2 would be out.  Knew there wouldn’t be enough time to finish Odyssey.  It was black Friday yesterday.  Knew there was a bunch of great games on sale.  But didn’t bother going and looking.  Well today I did.  Seen that Walmart had Odyssey on for $40.00.  Couldn’t past that deal up.  Not sure when I will get around to playing it.

Black Friday

Every year now the black Friday sales start earlier and earlier.  This seams to be be getting our of hand.  That being said.  There are some good deals to be had.  Last year didn’t bother checking anything out.   This year I just might.  There seems to be a lot of great games on sale.  Want to grow my PS4 collection.  There are a bunch I am looking at.  Will be back with an update if or what I got.

[Update] Didn’t bother going any where.  It was super cool out.  Plus the sales are on for a few days.  Might try tomorrow.

Default – Wasting My Time

That day of the week again, musical throwback Thursday.  This song this week is an early 2000’s Canadian classic, Wasting My Time by Default.    This is off their 2001 album The Fallout.  The song was a  huge hit.  They were on TV there night because they are doing a reunion tour.  You can give the song a listen > here or below.

Canada’s Worst Driver 14 On YouTube

Season 14, Canada’s Worst Diver, has aired four episodes so far as I am typing this (November 20, 2018).  This is one of my favourites to watch every year.  Airs late on Monday nights.  It’s on too late for me.  So the next day I watch in on the Discovery.ca website.  While on YouTube seen someone has uploaded it on there.  Most times when this happens it gets taken down.  Not this time.  On Canada’s Worst Driver’s Facebook page they posted a link to the YouTube upload.  Was very surprised by this.  It still might be taken down.  But in the mean time if you missed an episode you can see it > here.
