DualShock 4 Controller

For a few years now have been hoping PlayStation DualShock 4 controllers would go on sale during black Friday.  It didn’t happen again this year.  Let the PS5 ones did.  As I am typing this (November 25, 2022) they coast out $75.00.  To me that is too much.  The Wave Blue one I bought back in 2015 sticks have worn a lot.  So many be they will go on sale during the Boxing week sales.  Fingers crossed.

DualShock 4 Controller

I do hope at this years Black Friday sales the PS4 DualShock 4 controllers go on sale.  The Wave Blue one I bought back in 2015 is starting to ware a in spots.  Since I plan on keeping my PS4 forever would like a new controller.  Have held one of the newer versions of these.  They seem lighter and made a bit differently.  But yet the same.  All so thinking may be I should buy a PS4 Slim or Pro to keep in the box just in case mine dies.  Would wait for a big price drop first on that.  Will keep my eyes on the flyers.

Black Friday 2019

The past two years didn’t bother with Black Friday.  Well this year decided to take a look.  Need a few things at Walmart any way.  So after work went to the electronic section to see if they had any PS4 games on.  Turns out they had a two big cardboard shippers filled with PS4, Xbox One and Switch games.  Some of them I had all ready and a few I didn’t care about.  Did buy two for my collection,  Doom (2016) and Diablo 3 Eternal Collection.  Have tried Doom before and every since wanted to get a copy.  As for Diablo never tired it.  It was a great price and as local co-op.  So next game night will be trying it out.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

If you have every stopped by this blog you will know I am a huge fan of the Assassin’s Creed games.  The newest one out is Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.  It was released on October 5, 2018.  Didn’t pick it up right way because a few weeks later Red Dead Redemption 2 would be out.  Knew there wouldn’t be enough time to finish Odyssey.  It was black Friday yesterday.  Knew there was a bunch of great games on sale.  But didn’t bother going and looking.  Well today I did.  Seen that Walmart had Odyssey on for $40.00.  Couldn’t past that deal up.  Not sure when I will get around to playing it.

Black Friday

Every year now the black Friday sales start earlier and earlier.  This seams to be be getting our of hand.  That being said.  There are some good deals to be had.  Last year didn’t bother checking anything out.   This year I just might.  There seems to be a lot of great games on sale.  Want to grow my PS4 collection.  There are a bunch I am looking at.  Will be back with an update if or what I got.

[Update] Didn’t bother going any where.  It was super cool out.  Plus the sales are on for a few days.  Might try tomorrow.

Black Friday Sales

For the longest time Black Friday sales was just an American thing.  Over the past few years it has creped into Canada.  This is not really a bad thing.  However pretty much every store has a sale going on that day.  It is turning out to be just crazy as Boxing Day sales.  That being said took a look a the flyers and see there was all kinds of great deals on video games.  While I will not wait in line for hours  to save a few dollars, will go into the stores to see how bad it is.  Last year I got lucky and walked in an out.  Will see how bad it’s this year.

[Update]  Didn’t bother going out on my lunch break to see what’s on sale.  Since most stores were having the sale run two to three days.
