Futurama: The Beast with a Billion Backs Review

Watched the new Futurama DVD last night.  I am glad they are still working on Futurama after all these years.  I think the show was cancelled back in 2003.  This movie was great, just like the show but better quality picture.  There are some pretty funny moments and the dialog is top notch.  I missed seen the first DVD that came out last year called Futurama: Bender’s Big Score. I do believe there are two more DVD’s in the works.  Which is awesome.

A much watch if you are a fan or just love great animation.

Diablo III

Diablo III was announced yesterday at Blizzard’s show in Paris.  After years a waiting, fans on the internet are all a buzz.  Gamespot.com has a some great info and a 20 minute video demo found here.  It looks good.  I hope it is goods as the second one.

Sound Snap

I heard about this great website called SoundSnap.com.  What it is a collection of free to download and use sound FX.  They have 16 categories and thousands of sounds. This is a pretty awesome website.  Can’t wait to use it in some up coming projects.

Batman: Gotham Knight (2008) Trailer

Here is the Trailer of the new DVD coming out June 8, 2008 for Batman: Gotham Knight.  It looks pretty slick.  Picking it up for sure.  A special edition of Batman Begins on Blu-ray comes out too that day.  That all so looks slick.  I think I will pick that up as well.

Alien Apocalypse Review

A friend lent me a copy of Alien Apocalypse.  This movie was made for TV for the SCI FI Channel way back in 2005.  My friend said this was the worst movie ever made and that he only watch a few minutes.  It wasn’t that bad. You have to realize it was low budget shot in Bulgaria.  If you see the movie that is why the of some of the actors are out of sync.  Bruce Campbell makes this film as does Renee O’Connor.  She is so hot.

Over all it a fun low budget watch.

PS3 XMB and Trophy Update Sort OF

Gamespot.com as an article in there Rumor control section taking about the new PS3 XMB and trophies.  The new firmware v2.4 will have a bunch of cool features added.  According to the article found here.  Here is a list of alleged new features.

Bad Driver

Saw something real funny today.  A bad driver.  Ok lets start.  The Walmart has a garden centre.  Out side the garden centre fence they have pallets with soil and what not on them.  In front of these pallets they have metal signs.  This old lady drives towards them.  She gets real close then turns a little bit but not enough.  Her font wheels miss the pallet.  How ever here back ones do not. She rides right up on the metal sign and the pallet.  The best part was you can hear the metal on metal and she kept driving.  Once she realized that some thing was wrong.  She got out and had a look.  Oh my it was too funny.

Get Smart Review

Saw Get Smart last night and man it was funny as hell.  I laughed all the way though as did ever one else in the theatre.  I remember watching the old tv show and loving the shoe phone and the cone of silence.  This movie had some of the stuff from the tv show in there.  How ever this movie is its own thing.  Which is a good thing.  I can’t say enough good things about this movie.  The funniest movie I have seen in very long time.  Can’t wait to see it again.

A must watch and buy then it comes out on DVD.

Jumper Review

I watched Jumper today.  I really liked it.  I know this movie got a lot a bad press, but it’s a good watch.  Some of the stories plot has been see may time before.   That’s no biggie.   This type of movie you watch for the fun and the special FX.  They were top notch by the way.  The fight scene near the end is one of the best I have seen in along time.  Samuel L. Jackson is in this movie, so that makes its cool by default.

This is a good watch for sure.  Give it a rent
