Batman: The Killing Joke

Only a few more days to go before the next DC Universe Animated movie,  Batman: The Killing Joke, is out on Blu-ray/DVD.  Think it is one of the most anticipated movie they have made to date.  Mostly because it is based off the very famous graphic novel of the same name, 1988’s Batman: The Killing Joke.   Very much looking forward to watching  this.  Will picking up a copy of this on Blu-ray.  Then I will be back with a review.  You get it on VOD now or Blu-ray/DVD August 2, 2016.

Wonder Woman Comic-Con Trailer

It is that great time of year when Comic-Con is happed because there is all kinds of cool news and video comes out.  So far 2016’s Comic-Con has a lot of cool trailers.  One of which is for Wonder Woman.  This is one of the upcoming DC movies that all live in the same universe.  You can see a plan list of the the movies > here.  After watching the trailer.  Which you can see > here or below.  Just say it looks pretty awesome.  I like the fact that it takes place during World War One makes it standout.  Looking forward to seeing this.  Will be out June 2, 2017.

Cape Breton Bike Rally 2016

The 2016 Cape Breton Bike Rally starts today (July 28).  It will run until August 1.  For the first time it will be held in Membertou.  Think this is a good move because there will be more space to more around.  The weather look like it will be good all weekend.  Plan to check things out later on.  Would like to see if I can find a new pair of boots.  Will be back with an update.

Whigfield – Saturday Night

Once again it is musical throwback Thursday time.  Have decided to share another Whigfield song.  This time it is Saturday Night.  Remember this being a big hit in the early 90’s.  The song is off her 1995 self titled album, Whigfield.  While it is a good song my favourite of hers is Sexy Eyes.  Which is all so off the same album.   Give Saturday Night a watch/listen > here or below.

Dragon Quest Builders

Back in June (2016) made a post about the upcoming game, Dragon Quest Builders.  Which I shared the trailer, which you can see > here.  Have some good news to share the game will be out on October 11, 2016.  The art in the game looks a bit cutesy.  However it does look like a lot of fun.  It is a sandbox action role-playing game with Minecraft like elements to it.  This game is on my list to buy.  Might not be right way but I want to play it for sure.  Over at the PlayStation blog > here they talk about the release date and the Day 1 edition of the game.  That comes with a voucher code which unlocks three recipes.

Harley & The Davidsons

There is a very interesting mini-series come out this September (2016) on the Discovery channel called, Harley & The Davidsons.  Just about everyone in the world knows the motorcycle name Harley Davidsons.  Every time non-motorcyclist talk about motorcycling as a whole the think every one is a Harley.  When people like this find out I ride they all ask it if is a Harley.  That is some strong brand recognition.  They think that brand is the best of the best.  To some it is but to others it’s up for debate.  That being said, this will be a three part series starting September 5, 2016.  Will show the history how it all got started.  I will be watching.  As I am typing this (July 19, 2016) the official trailer is not on their YouTube channel.  However someone else has up it up > here.  Or you can see it below.

Game Of Thrones: Season Seven News

It has been rumoured since near the end of season six of Game of Thrones.  That season seven would have less episodes.  This rumoured tuned out to be true.  Season seven will be have only seven episodes.  Which kinds of sucks because the all the other seasons had ten.  I understand why they are going it.  Because the over all story arcs are joining and coming to an end.  There is more news as well the season will start later.  They are saying some time in summer 2017.  This is because “Winter” has come so then need to film in fall/winter time.  You can read the official blog post > here.

ACWA All-Star Championship Wrestling Alliance

It has been a little bit over a year since I last seen a ACWA All-Star Championship Wrestling Alliance show.  The they put on last summer had some great matches.  This past Saturday (July 23, 2016) they put on another great show.  This time around all the matches were great.  That was because all the wresters interacted with the crowed.  All the “bad guy” did and awesome job.  Another good thing they did was, they didn’t let intermission drag on to long.  Have been to some events where it was well over an hour.  Was happy to see theses hows.  Hope they put on another one some time soon.  Took some pictures.  Which you can see below.

 

  

  

  

  

 

The Walking Dead: Season 7 Comic-Con Official Trailer

The San Diego’s International Comic-Con is going on this weekend, July 21 – 24, 2016.  Just like in past years AMC has put out a trailer for the upcoming season of The Walking Dead.  Season seven will start October 23, 2016.  Must say this is the most epic trailer they have put out yet.  You can see it > here or below.  Season six ended with a cliff-hanger.  So knew they couldn’t show any thing from that group.  Was all so thinking what can they show.  Well they showed lots and lots.  There is some very cool surprise with a very huge one at the end.  Might be a bit of a spoiler for some.  So can’t wait to see what happens next.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition

Picked up myself a copy of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice the Ultimate Edition on Blu-ray the other day.  There has been a lot of bad buzz around this movie.  I think mostly from people that don’t like change or a different take on their favourite super heroes.   Myself, am a more opened mind to switching things up.  The movie came out on Blu-ray/DVD on July 19, 2016.  Will be back with a review.  It might be pretty good or it might be bad as some people are saying.
