Cape Breton Bike Rally 2019 – Cancelled

Have been going to all the Cape Breton Bike Rally’s ever since it was re-branded that in 2014.  Before that it was the Cape Breton Bike Fest.   Now it is July (2019) got thinking they might have a list of events on their website now.  Went to their website and it was gone.  Which as a bit odd but may be they didn’t pay the bill.  So went to the Facebook page and that was gone as well.  Did a Google search and found of a list of motorcycle event in Nova Scotia.  It says, “CANCLLED Cape Breton Bike Rally ‘19”.  Not sure why.  My guess is that there wasn’t enough volunteers.  Very sad to see it go.  My be it will be back next year.  Enjoyed going each year.

Cape Breton Bike Rally 2018

It is one of my favourite times of year, The Cape Breton Bike Rally (2018).  All ways like watching the stunt show.   Took lots of pictures this.  Think around 92 but narrowed to 24 of the best ones.  You can see them below.  Last year they had the show on a dead end street.  When people packed on both sides.  The run was much smaller.  This year the blocked of a street to give them more home.  So it made it look it was a lot less people there.  Plan to go back tomorrow to buy a shirt.  They have a new design this year.

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

Cape Breton Bike Rally 2018

A little more than to weeks to go before the 2018 Cape Breton Bike Rally.  This year take place August 3rd to 6th, 2018.  I like going to this event every year.  Mostly to see all the motorcycles. All so like watching the stunt show which is all ways good.  Plan to take pictures again this year.  Managed to get a few good ones last year.

Winter is still here.  But can dream about nice weather.  So I will be able to get out on my motorcycle again.  Got thinking about the Cape Breton Bike Rally.  Was wondering what dates it will take place this year, 2018.  It will take place August 3rd to 6th, 2018.  Will be at Membertou once again.  Thinking it will be the third time it has taken place there.  It is a much better local than downtown.  A lot more room.

Cape Breton Bike Rally 2017

My favorite thing to check out at the Cape Breton Bike Rally (2017) is the motorcycle stunt show.  The past few years never took any pictures because my newest camera is too big for my pocket.  So this year dug out my old Sony Net Sharing Cam.  Sure, it doesn’t take the best pictures but it easy to use can carry.  Below are some of the better ones.  As for the rally itself.  It was really good.  All more vendors and people around.

  

  

  

  

  

  

 

Cape Breton Bike Rally 2017

We are just days away from the 2017 Cape Breton Bike Rally.  This year is runs from August 4th to 7th, 2017.  I go to this event every year.  It seems to get bigger every time.  Which is a good thing.  The more motorcycles the better.  Like looking out for different styles of bikes.  There is all ways a sea of standard cruisers.  Mixed in between are some ones that you don’t see every day.  Didn’t take any pictures last year.  This year will try to get some nice ones.

Cape Breton Bike Rally 2017

The weather is trying to get nicer.  So can’t wait to get my motorcycle out for the first ride of the year.  While thinking about that.  Got thinking about the 2017 Cape Breton Bike Rally.  Do believe this will the the fourth year for this rally.  Gone to everyone.   Even the ones before that when it was called Bikefest.  Last years rally took place in Membertou.  Have to say it was much better.  More room for everything and everyone to move around.  The rally runs from August 4th to 7th, 2017.

Cape Breton Bike Rally 2016

The 2016 Cape Breton Bike Rally starts today (July 28).  It will run until August 1.  For the first time it will be held in Membertou.  Think this is a good move because there will be more space to more around.  The weather look like it will be good all weekend.  Plan to check things out later on.  Would like to see if I can find a new pair of boots.  Will be back with an update.

Cape Breton Bike Rally 2016

There is a new location for the 2016 Cape Breton Bike Rally.  This year it will take place Membertou.  The first two rallies and all the Cape Breton Bifefest  took place (for the most part) around Center 200.   Think this is a good move.  Think it will be easier for everyone to get around and find parking.  As well the events/vendors will have more.  There will all so be camping on site.  Which will be a first.  The rally runs from July 29 to August 1, 2016.  Below is a picture of how things will be laid out.

Only a few more days to go before the 2015 Cape Breton Bike Rally.  Which runs from July 31 to August 3, 2015.  Every year look forward to going to the rally.  They put together a great show with little time they had  last year.  This year they have had a full year so know they will be putting a even better show this year.  Think this year going to see If I can find myself a new pair of boots.  All so my remember to change my camera battery because I forgot last year.
