PlayStation 4

Have been thinking about getting myself a PlayStation 4 soon.  Have a birthday coming in few months.  So thinking that is when I will buy one.  There is a bunch of games coming in the fall and around the holidays to look forward to.  The first games I want to get is Watch Dogs, which is out May 27, 2014.  All so want Trials Fusion.  All so need to get PlayStation Plus to play online.  There are some good perks when getting Plus besides playing online.  Every month they have a bunch of game for free to download.  Most of these game are pretty good.  For example one month it was  Bioshock Infinite.  Another great thing is it covers all three devices PS3, Vita and PS4.  So thinking I will get that before I even get a PS4.  Will be back when an update when I do.  Provided I can even find one.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

There is only a few episodes left in season one of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.LD.  I have really liked this show.  Know that there are some out there saying it’s boring.  I think it is a very interesting.  While there is not much action there are lots of cool plot twits.  If you watch the first episode and they last one that aired (April 22, 2014) you will see how much everything has changed.  The show could of went down the Law and Order/CSI road with a crazy story each episode where they don’t link together.  But it doesn’t, which is good.  Here is not much superhero stuff which has some people not liking the show.  The way I look at it is the superhero stuff is for the movies.  The show is called Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D for a reason.  It is about them.  As I am typing this (April 24, 2014) there are three episodes left in the season.  Will do a full review once the season is over.

Watch Dogs Multiplayer Gameplay Demo

We are getting closer to May 27, 2014.  That is the day Watch Dogs is set to come out.  A few days back Ubisoft have put out a nine minute video showing off three modes for the multiplayer.  When I first see the video > here or below I was impressed on who good the game looks.  Another thing that stands out is how they are integrating the single player and multiplayer.  When playing single or multi you will look like the main guy in the game.  How ever you will not look like him everyone will have there own look  when other are hacking into your game.   The modes do look fun.  But not sure if I would play them a lot.  Time will tell.  This is one game I plan to get when I do buy a PS4.

Ken Block’s New Gymkhana Film

Well Ken Block is back with a new Gymkhana video.  This new one is called Footkhana.  That is because he up against a soccer or football star Neymar Jr.  I am guess he must be famous or something.  Of all these types of videos he has done over the years these one is the weakest.  Think it is because there seems to be less of a production behind it.  All so the editing might had something to do with it.  You can check it out > here or below.

Batman: Assault On Arkham

Yes, more Batman.  This time because there is a trailer out for the next DC Universe Animated movie Batman: Assault on Arkham.  Well it is the next one after Son of Batman.  Which looks really cool.  That one will be out May 6, 2014.  On a side note I am reading the graphic novel that its based on.  About this new, new takes place in the Arkham video game world.  This movie will bridge the gap between Arkham Origins and Arkham Asylum.  The storyline will focus on the Suicide Squad.  From what I know about this Squad is they are a group of bad guys the government sends into do dangerous missions.  I think it will be pretty awesome.  But I all ways like these DC animated movies.  There is no release date yet.  You can check out the trailer > here or below.

Urban Trial Freestyle

Only bought one game from this past weekends PlayStation store flash sale.  That game is Urban Trial Freestyle.  The game is a bit of a rip off of Trials HD.  Which is fine because this kind of gameplay is fun.  The idea of the game is to get over the objects in your path using balance and throttle control.  Some of the time the goal is to get the fast time though the level.  Other times you have try and get the most points by going fast, doing flips and tricks.  Here are money bags in most of the levels.  Some are harder to get then other.  With this money you can buy  parts for your motorcycle.  These improve the speed, acceleration and handling.  I think to get the most out each level you have use different combinations.  At the end of each level you are given a star rating.  The more stars you get unlock more levels.  So far I am liking the game.  There is not much to it but it is fun.  Since there is no other Trials games on the PS3 this one is not bad.

Batman: Arkham Origins Review

Yes I know another Batman post.  That is because I finished the story mode and just about all the side missions in Batman: Arkham Origins.  If you liked the first two Arkham games you will like this one as well.  They all pretty much play the same.  Origins dose bring some new gadgets.  Which is nice.  Enjoyed the combat much better in this game than the last one.   Think this is because I got better at the timing.  Of course there are boss battles in this game.  I have a very strong dislike of boss battles.  Was surprised that I had fun with a few of these battles.  One that stands out is the one with Firefly.  One of the new things in the game is the crime scene investigation.  When at a crime scene you look for clues and then backtrack to find out what really happened.  Its hard to explain but it is very well done.  The only main fault with the game is the cut scenes.  They looks great but they skip/stutter and some times the audio drops out.  Not sure why.  This being the third game in the series those kind of bugs should be worked out.

This is another awesome Batman game.  Some people don’t like  it much because it was made by different company.  That doesn’t matter because the game is fun.  It’s not a very long game.  If you just power thought all the story line it wouldn’t last long.  Half the fun is the side missions and upgrading your gear.  Had lots of fun playing this game.  It well worth the money.  Am sure you can find it cheap lots of place.  Which most are asking around $40.

Batman: Arkham Knight

I know I have been talking about Batman related stuff a lot lately.  But you can never get enough Batman.  Have some more cool news to share about the up coming game, Batman: Arkham Knight.   This is the newest in the Arkham games.  Which is only coming out for the PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.  This game is one more reason for me to buy a Playstation 4.  Talking about is game again because was looking though new articles over at Nerdist.com.  They have posted some new screenshots.  They look pretty sweet.  Picked the ones I like the most (below).  You can see the rest > here.   The game will be out October 14, 2014.

   

  

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV Spot

It is all most May so that means all the trailers and TV commercials for the summer blockbusters start to air.  Want to share the newest TV spot for the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.  The trailer for this was put out at the end of March.  Which you can see > here.  While this TV spot > here (or below) is pretty much the same as the trailer there is a few small differences.  We get to see a small look at Splinter.  The movie comes out August 8, 2014.  Want to see it.  It might be really good or super bad.  Only time will tell.

If you own a PlayStation 3 or  Vita go to the PlayStation Store now to some awesome deals.  They have 30 games for sale at $0 .99.  The game are a great mix of older game, download only and Vita games.  Their original prices vary from $6 to $20.  So $0.99 is a very sweet deal.  The sale started April 18, 2014 and will end Monday April 21, 2014 at 7:00 am Pacific time.  I bought Urban Trial Freestyle.  Its a bit of a rip off of Trails HD but it is still fun to play.  You can see what other game they have on sale > here.
