Dead Motorcycle Battery

Yesterday (April 29, 2016) made a post talking about going for my first ride of the season.  The weather good out today.  So this morning decided it would be nice to take it to work.  Went to fire it up.  Was bit cold so it would be hard to start.  It wall most kicked over.  Then I heard the dead battery clicking sound.  Tried one more time.  Sure enough it was dead.  Wasn’t too happy.  Since I just got that battery last May.  Now have to go buy another one.

First Ride Of 2016

Have been waiting for this day for what seems like forever.  The weather has been getting nicer. slowly.  Not that it was very warm about 7 °C.  However the sun was out with little to know clouds.  Checked everything over.  The tire pressure for both was only down a few pounds.  Which is not bad for sitting all winter.  Put the battery and turned the key to test the lights.  Then pushed the start button.  It fired in about four seconds with the choke only half way.  Went for about a half hour ride.  The wind picked up so got a bit cold.  Wasn’t rusty at all.  Every run, worked and felt great.  Can’t wait to start taking it to work again.  Hopefully the weather will not turn to shit again.

 

AC/DC – Thunderstruck

Time to rock out again for these weeks musical throwback Thursday.  Everyone in the world knows who AC/DC are.  So there is no need to saying thing.  We all know they are awesome.  Growing up was not much a fan of this type a music.  However knew many of their songs.  The one I like most is Thunderstruck.  It is one of those instant classic.  The song is off their 1990 album The Razors Edge.  Give it a listen > here or below.

Cape Breton Bike Rally 2016

There is a new location for the 2016 Cape Breton Bike Rally.  This year it will take place Membertou.  The first two rallies and all the Cape Breton Bifefest  took place (for the most part) around Center 200.   Think this is a good move.  Think it will be easier for everyone to get around and find parking.  As well the events/vendors will have more.  There will all so be camping on site.  Which will be a first.  The rally runs from July 29 to August 1, 2016.  Below is a picture of how things will be laid out.

Game Of Thrones Season Six: First Episode Impressions

Have been looking forward to the new season (six) starting for Game of Thrones.  This is one of my all time favourite shows.  Say this every season but think this will be the biggest and best one.  They were most definitely not holding back.  From what they did this first episode.  Well they never did hold back that much.  It just up the level again.  This next nine weeks are going to be full of awesome.  Sure there will be twists and turns we may not be happy with but that is what makes it so great.

I like that they picked right up were season five ended.  They did a great job on catching us up and setting things for future episodes.  Don’t want to spoil any thing, just in case some of you haven’t watched it yet.  The only problem I seen with this episode is, were did the dogs go.  Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Broforce

One of the free games for PlayStation Plus members in March (2016) was Broforce.   Back then didn’t try it out. But to put in on my library list.  A few nights ago while at game night.  A friend had it on his PS4 so four of us gave it a go.  It was pure chaos.  It is hard to describe this game.  It is like your standard 8-bit platformer. However it big on the action and the destruction.   The best part is the characters.  They are mostly based off 80’s and 90’s movie action heroes.  You can tell who they are.  The kicker is how they are named.  Everyone’s name has bro in it.  For example RoboCop is called Brobocop.  It is pretty fun.  The game is over the top.  When playing with four people there is some stuff happening on screen you don’t know what to do.  Just might give it a download to see how it plays with one person.

No Man’s Sky

There are some many awesome video games coming out.  Some of which we have known about for years now.  One of which is No Man’s Sky.  First seen this game at E3 2014.  Ever since there has been lots of talk about it.  In resent months there have bee more and more video’s and articles taking about the game.  Have watched a few of these.  All which make this game look pretty awesome and something very different.  What makes this standout out some much besides how it looks.  Is how big the word is.  Shouldn’t say world, it an open universe that is procedurally generated.  They throwing around numbers that read in quintillions.  Am very interested in trying the game out.  PlayStation put out a nice fifth teen minute video showing off what you will be doing.  Give it a watch > here or below.  The game will be out June 21, 2016.

PlayStation Store Flash Sale April 2016

Great news there is a flash sale going on in the PlayStation Store.  The last one was in January which was mostly smaller and indie games.  This one, that runs for April 22 to the 25th, has lots of triple A games at really good prices.  The list has games on every PlayStation platform.  Was temped by a lot of them.  But only had enough money left on my account to get one.  Decided on Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.  Have wanted to play this one for a very long time.  The sale price is $8.74 and the regular price is $30.00.  Which is a super good deal.  Just might got buy myself another PSN card to get a few more games before the sale ends.  You can see which games are on sale > here or read the PlayStation blog post > here.

LEGO DC Comics Superheroes – Justice League: Gotham City Breakout

It is not a surprise that there is another  LEGO DC Comics Superheroes movie coming out.  This new one is called Justice League: Gotham City Breakout.  The story has Batman going on vacation.  While the rest of the Justice League watch over Gotham.  Have seen all these LEGO DC movies.  Each one looks visual better than the one before it.  This one looks amazing.   You can see for yourself with the trailer > here or below.   It all so nice to that they are bring in more characters.  It will be out on July 12, 2016.

September – Cry For You

Switching things up again for this weeks musical throwback Thursday.  The song this time is Cry For You by September.  That is her stage name.  Her real name and what she goes by now is Petra Marklund.  It is off her 2006 album called In Orbit.  Like this song very much.  Pretty catchy.  give it a listen > here or below.
