Game of Thrones Season 6: Teases

The people at HBO and Game of Thrones are very good at teasing us.  Back in December (2015) they put out a nice teaser.  Which you can see > here.  Well they are back at it again.  This time with three of them.  Each one is super short.  In each one shows a tattered banner with a voice over .  One for House Stark, Lannister  and Targaryen.  It’s pretty cool.  So can’t wait for the show to start, April 24, 2016 is the day.  Am pretty sure there will be a full trailer out some time in February.  In the mean time you can see the  teasers > here or below.

Grand Theft Auto Online: Drop Zone

There is some new content out for Grand Theft Auto Online.   The main part is the new Adversary Mode called Drop Zone.  You can read about it > here.  This has your team jumping out of a helicopter, race to the ground to fight over a patch of ground.  Sounds pretty cool.  Have not tired it yet.  The second part of this new content is there are two cars that can be customized that Benny’s.  This is the special car shop that was added during the Lowriders update.  That lets you really get into customizing the car inside and out.  The two new cars that can take there are the Karin Sultan and Bravado Banshee.  This lets you turn them into race cars.  All most like the Fast and Furious.  Decided to give this a go.  Bought the Sultan and took it to the shop.  To unlock the new stuff to customize with you have to upgrade the car.  Which cost a little under $800,000.00.   Which seems like a lot but did it any way.  Once that is done you can add all kinds of stuff to make it look and run better.  For a price of course.   So that will be my new goal when I play GTA Online every now again.  Is to trick out the car all the way, one part at at time.

Rockstar Games is running double GTA$ on adversary modes and races this weekend, January 29 to 31, 2016.

James May’s Cars Of The People Series Two

Back in the summer of 2014 there was a three episodes series called James May’s Cars of the People.  Well now there is a new series two.  Which started January 24, 2016.  So if you are a Top Gear fan this might help fill the void until James and gang come out with their new show.  Did see the first series.  Which was great.  So I know this one will be just as awesome because James May entraining and funny.  Just wish there was a trailer to share.

Great Big Sea – Ordinary Day

Try to picking different styles of music I like for musical throwback Thursday.   So this weeks song is Ordinary Day by Great Big Sea.  Everyone that knows Great Big Sea is awesome.  They are very famous for their stage shows.  Never seem them live but seem them live on TV many times.   Ordinary Day is off their third album which is called Play. Released in 1997.  They have many songs I could have picked.  Just might for future throwback Thursdays.  However Ordinary Day is my favourite.   Check it out > here or below.

Bastille – Pompeii (Live At Capitol Studios)

Have shared two other songs from Bastille last year that I ready like.  Back with another one.  Which is called Pompeii.  There is a official music video as well as some remixes.  But I like version they do at Capitol Studios with a live orchestra.  They play it live in one take and it sounds amazing.  The song if off their 2013 album called Bad Blood.  You can give it a listen > here or below.

Suicide Squad – Official Trailer

A few day back they put out an official trailer for Suicide Squad.  The movie is set to come out August 5, 2016.  Which is a few months after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is out.  Both movies take place in the same world.  DC Comics and Warner Bros. are pretty much do what Marvel has been doing for years now.  Which is have as share movie universes.   I think this is a good thing.  As long as the movies are good.  If you have very stopped by this blog you will know that I am a DC comics fan.  With Batman being my favourite.   So looking forward to seeing how the movie turns out.  Back it the summer they put out a first look during Comic-Con.   Wasn’t too sure about it.  Now after watching the trailer > here or below have more hope for this movie.  Still not sure about some of the casting but they can prove me wrong.  Time will tell.

PlayStation Gold Wireless Stereo Headset

Have been using the PlayStation Gold Wireless Stereo Headset for about a year and a half now.  It works great, never a problem with it.  Review them back in September (2014).  So not review them again but want to talk about a feature I didn’t know about to the other day.  They come with a 3.5mm audio cable.  Which you can plug into the headset then the other end to pretty much any music playing device.  Did know that and try it out on my MP3 player, computer and a CD player.  What I newly found out that you can plug that into the bottom of the PS4 controller.  This cause it to work as an wire headset.  You can’t use the buttons on the headset but that’s not big of a deal.  Since you can use the settings with the PS4.  Have tried it and it works great.  This will come in handy because a few time while playing online the battery got low and died.  So I had to run a long USB cable.  Which is a bit of a pain.  So this is another reason that this headset is well worth the money.

Game Of Thrones: Season Five Blu-ray

If you haven’t heard yet season six of Game of Thrones will begin April 24, 2016.  But before that on March 15, 2016 the Blu-ray/DVD will be out for season five.  It feels like forever since the last episode for season five aired.  Looked it up and that aired in June (2015).  So well over half a year ago.  So pretty much forgotten what has happed.  It will great to watch again on Blu-ray before the new season starts.

PlayStation Store Flash Sale January 2016

Every now again Sony has a flash sale on the PlayStation Store.  Have only bought two games from past sales.  This time how ever bought two just from this sale.  They had a lot of great games at awesome prices.  A lot of of the games were cross buy as well.  So if you have  PS4, PS3 or Vita on the go it a very good deal.  The sale only lasts a few days January 22 to 25, 2016.  You can see all the games on sale > here.   Got myself a twenty dollar PlayStation Store card.  The games I bought are Bastion and Terraria.   Heard lots of great things about this games.   So couldn’t pass these prices up.  Bastion is going for $3.75 regular $14.99.  Terraria is $5.00 regular $19.99.

DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow First Episode Impressions

After months of waiting DC’s Legends of Tomorrow aired last night (January 21, 2015).  DC Comics have been having an awesome run with their TV shows.  So was looking forward to see how this new one stacked up.  Pretty much all the characters have been introduced on Arrow, The Flash or both.

Was very impressed with what this first episode.  Have to say this show is off to a great start.  It great right into it right way.  They do small intros for each of the characters just in case you not sure who they are o you might have missed the episodes of the other shows they were in.  The show have more science fiction in it so there is more CG.  Which all looks great.  They did any awesome job on the time travel ship.  Will keep watching for sure.  There is sixteen episodes set for the season.
