Cape Breton Bike Rally 2018

Winter is still here.  But can dream about nice weather.  So I will be able to get out on my motorcycle again.  Got thinking about the Cape Breton Bike Rally.  Was wondering what dates it will take place this year, 2018.  It will take place August 3rd to 6th, 2018.  Will be at Membertou once again.  Thinking it will be the third time it has taken place there.  It is a much better local than downtown.  A lot more room.

ReBoot: The Guardian Code

Back in 2013 first read about there was a ReBoot, re-boot in the making.  The original was an awesome animated show.  This new one is called ReBoot: The Guardian Code.  It will be a live action and computer animation mix.  There is a trailer out.  Which you can see > here or below.  It does look pretty bad.  Mind you it is designed kids.  Seams like the type of show that would be on the Disney channel.  Here in Canada it will air on YTV this June (2018).  In other places it will be on Netflix staring March 30, 2018.

Gundam Model Kit

Many, many years ago found a bunch of robot model kits which I liked to put together.  There were based on a Gundam.  Back then had know idea what it was.  Still kind of don’t.  Just know it very popular TV, comics and books series.  Had about six or so of them.  After a while could never find them.  Years later would see them in comic book stores.  But they would want way too much money for them.  I liked to put them together but not that much.

Well the other day a local comic book store was running a weekend sale for these kits.  They had %25 off the sticker price.  Took a look at them a bought a look and bought one.  It is HG Iron Blooded Orphans: Gundam Vual.  Have know idea what the means.  Bought because it was cool looking.  Will be back with pictures when it’s together.

Burnout Paradise Remastered

There have been a lot of remastered and re-releases this generation of game consoles.  One more add to the list is Burnout Paradise.  This game was released back in 2008.  Bought it back then and played the hell out of it.  It’s a great game.  It had all kinds of DLC which I never got to try.  If are like me this time around, Burnout Paradise Remastered, will have the full game with all the DLC.  They all so say the game will have “high resolution textures” with support for PS4 Pro and the One X.  The best part is the price.  In the states it will be $40.  So I am guessing it will be $60.00 here.  The game will be out March 16, 2018.  You can see the trailer > here or below.

Assassin’s Creed Origins

Have owned a copy of Assassin’s Creed Origins since it came out near the end of October (2017).  So far I have played for 76 hours.  Have enjoyed every minute of it.  Still know were from finishing it.  There is so much to look at and side stuff to do.  There are still lots of the map I have not been to yet.  I like to do all the stuff in each section of the map before moving on.  Have reached the level cap, which is forty.  All so all the stuff you can upgrade, upgraded.  My goal is to finish everything before Far Cry 5 is out.  This is the best Assassin’s Creed game in years.  Like I really like the last one, Syndicate, and recommend that one as well.  If you have to pick one go with Origins.

Ready Player One – Come With Me

There is a new trailer out for Ready Player One.  This one is called Come With Me.  Which you can see > here or below.  Can’t wait to see this movie.  Loved the book.  Very interested in how they will turn into a movie.  From al the trailers I watched it looks like they are going a great job.  Am pretty sure just like every book to movie there will be some things different.  I am ok with that.  They are two different formats.  Which can be enjoyed separately.

Drowning Pool – Bodies

Once again it is musical throwback Thursday.  This week decided to pick something heavier than I normal do.  The song is Bodies by Drowning Pool.  This song has been used in lots of TV shows and movies over the year.   It is off their first album, Sinner, released in 2001.  One of those songs that get stuck in your head.  Give it a watch/listen > here or below.

Batman Ninja – Trailer

Looks like it will be another great year for superhero movie, live action and animated.  A while back seen a trailer for an animated movie called Batman Ninja.  What makes this one standout is, it is done in anime style.  It was made for the Japanese market.  Turns out there will be an English version.  Which will be out very soon.  It is set to be out in Blu-ray and DVD May 8, 2018.  Have ever really been into this style of animation.  However this one might have been change my mind.  It does look pretty cool.  You can see for yourself with the trailer > here or below.

The Walking Dead Volume 29: Lines We Cross

As you might know am a big fan of The Walking Dead TV show.  All so a huge fan of the The Walking Dead comics.  Have collected all the trade volumes.  The next one is, The Walking Dead Volume 29: Lines We Cross.  According to Amazon.ca it will be out March 13, 2018. Will be getting a copy of this.  The comic has been around since 2003.  This is a very long time in the comic book world.  Not sure how much longer it will keep going.  However as long as they keep making them.  I will be buying the trade paperbacks.

Blood Omen: Legacy Of Kain

Back in the day my brother used to like to rent the game, Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, for the PlayStation.  Never played it but would watch him play for a bit.  Never understood the game.  Just know it was about vampires and the game had long load time every time you entered or left a building.  Well a few days ago.  Came “across” a copy and decided to give it a try.  It plays like a action RPG.  Haven’t got the full handle on the controls yet.  So used to playing modern games.  Going to try and play some more to see if I can get into it.
