Made a post last week talking about messing around with the PCSX2 emulator. This lets you play PS2 games on your computer. Got thinking there must be a way to use cheat codes, like from GameShark and the like. Turns out you can but it takes a bit off time to set up. Looked up some how-tos on YouTube. There are a few but the people were making way to hard to follow along. Making it very unclear how to go about it. Well, after a few tries I got it working. So thinking I will make my how-to for the YouTube channel, I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry.
It has been awhile since Sony has put out a new State of Play. Well they had one yesterday (February 25, 2021). This was about an half hour long and they covered ten games. There was a few we have known about and some new ones as well. For the most part they only one that stood out for me is, Sifu. If you missed it you can watch it > here or below.
That day of the week again, musical throwback Thursday. The pick this week is Encore Une Fois by Sash!. Kind of forgot about this song until looking for something to pick for this week. Should have remember it because it was on many mix tapes and CD’s. This off of the album It’s My life released in 1997. Like of lot of song from this time there are many remixes. Have blogged about Zack Snyder’s Justice League movie and it’s release date a few times. There is some new info to share. We know it will be on HBO Max staring March 18, 2021. The thing is that is only in the US. Well the other day. They said it will be in other markets that same day as well. However they didn’t say what VOD or others streaming servicers it will be on. As well how much it will cost to rent. Am sure well will find out soon as well are all most into March now. If the price is not too high might give it a rent. If it is too much, will wait for a Blu-ray.
The game that keeps on giving, No Man’s Sky, is back with another awesome free update. This one is called Companions. You can tame animals to become you pets. According to the patch notes you can have six. As you feed and take care of them the will spawn an egg. Which can be modified. As for the pets they can all customised. There is a lot more too it. Haven’t tried this out for myself yet but plan to on the weekend.

Year four the complete collection goes in a different direction than the last volume. They bring in the Greek Gods into the mix. So here is my quick review for Year Four > here or below.

It was back in 2019 I first gave PlayStation 2 emulation a try with soft modding my PS2. While it works (with some games) it’s a bit of a pain adding games to the hard drive. Well gave emulation another try, but this time on my computer. Use PCSX2 emulator. Have know about this program for many years but never gave it a try. It all ways seem to complicated to setup. Looked at some how to videos and that made it much easier. So gave it a try a few nights ago. Got it working pretty quickly. Once cool feature is, it can upscale games. The few I tired looked great running at 1080. Now going to look thought my old stack of games a pick one to play though.
On February 14, 2021 HBO put out a full trailer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Which will be on their HBO Max service March 18, 2021. It will be a very long movie coming in at four hours. All so read it will be rated “R”. From this new trailer, which you can see > here or below, it looks really good. Am happy to see they will be giving more backstory to all the characters. The only down side is, am not sure when I will get to see it. Since HBO Max is a US thing. Just hope it comes to Blu-ray. Will buy a copy for sure.
