Outcast Comic Book

Opened my my copy of The Walking Dead Volume 25: No Turning Back a few days back.  It came with the first issue of Outcast.  This is another comic written by Robert Kirkman.  Wasn’t to sure about to expect when I opened the cover.  Have seen a few of the trade paper backs.  But never picked it up.  The story has supernatural horror elements.  Not really into that type of storylines. Well I was very surprised to at how good it was.  I liked it so much am thinking about buying the trade paper backs that are out.  As I am typing this (March 26, 2017) there are four volumes out.  When finished reading the issue.  Seen that there was an ad on the back for the TV show based of the comic.  Sharing the same name, Outcast.  Again never heard of it looked that up as well.  Turns out the first season has all ready aired.  With a second season on the way.  The show aired on Cinemax.

David Guetta vs. The Egg – Love Don’t Let Me Go

Time once again for musical throwback Thursday.  The song this week is Love Don’t Let Me Go by David Guetta vs. The Egg.  This is a mash up of  The Egg’s song Walking Away.  With David Guetta’s song Love Don’t Let Me Go.  This first released back in 2006.  Remember hearing it for the first time thing this is one of the greatest things I have every heard.  The music video > here or below doesn’t hold up that well.  But the songs does.

Ready Player One Review

Going to start by saying, Ready Player One, is one of the best books I have ever read.  Sure the ending is very predicable but the journey was awesome.  The story takes place not too far in the the future.  Were every is pretty much falling apart.  Just about everyone spends most of their time on the internet in a online world called OASIS.   This main focus of the OASIS was on MMORPG but grew to be more than that.  The man the created had died.  However he left a very elaborate puzzle in that world.  For who every figures it out will get his fortune and the run the corporation.

Enjoyed every minute with this book.  If you are into video games.  This is a must read.   The chapters were just he right length.  The plot moves a good pace.  Like I said up above the ending is predicable.  However there are many twits and turns I didn’t see coming.  The only thing to say bad about it is, I wish there was more.  Can see myself re-reading this book again.  That is saying something because I ever had re-read any book.

Justice League Trailer

There is a new trailer out for the Justice League movie.  There has been so much talk, hype and hate around these shared  universes DC movies.  I liked Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.  Suicide Squad wasn’t great but not as bad as some harped on about.  Do think the Wonder Woman movie will be really good.  That movie and Justice League might just change peoples minds.  Then again they could be really bad.  Either way I will watch them.  You can see the trailer > here or below.  The movie is set to be out November 17, 2017.

Unreal Engine 4

Back in 2015 learned that you can download and freely use Unreal Engine 4.  This lets you make all kinds of different games for pretty every current platform.  I couldn’t try it out back then because my computer was too old.  Now that I have a new one.  Will be giving this a go.  They have all kinds of help and video tutorials.  Over the years tried to make some games.  But never really got every far.  May be this program will make the process a bit more fun.

Teen Titans: The Judas Contract

All most forgot that the next DC Universe Animated movie, Teen Titans: The Judas Contract will be on Blu-ray/DVD soon.  This movie was first announced in February (2017).  In a bit less than a month it will out.  April  18, 2017 is the day.  It will be out sooner on digital, April 4.  Think this will the DC’s 28 movie.  However it will be the 7/8th set in the same shared universe.  Am really liking this idea that here is a continuing storyline.  All so think the standalone stuff it awesome as well.  If you didn’t see the trailer yet.  You can watch that > here.

The Walking Dead: Season Seven All Most Over

As I am typing this (March 20, 2017) there are only two episodes left for season seven of The Walking Dead.  Even since they came back for the second half of the season.  They have been building to big fight between the groups.  However I think this will not happen to next season.  They may start with a bit.   Then have a cliffhanger.  Could be wrong.  That being said, in past season the main “bad guy” storyline would come to a close by the end of the season or the start of the next one.  I think we will be seeing a lot more of Negan.  He is still alive in the comic.  While they don’t follow that to the T.  It is pretty close in spots.  Over all can’t wait to see what will happen next.

PlayStation Store Flash Sale March 2017

Every month this year there has been a flash sale on the PlayStation Store.   Think this is a good thing.   Much like past sales there are some good deals to be had.  All so like past sales there are games that have been on there before.  Not sure if any of them are going for a better price or not.  You can see for yourself > here.   The sale starts today (March 24, 2017) and ends on the 27.

Ferry Corsten – Rock Your Body Rock

This weeks musical throwback Thursday song is an old favourite.  It is Rock Your Body Rock by Ferry Corsten.   He has been making music since the 90’s and is still on the go.  The song is off the 2003 album Right of Way.  Not sure when I first heard it.  But think it was when we had a free preview of BPM TV.  Which is no longer on the air.  You can give it a listen/watch > here or below.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands

Have about eighteen hours into  Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands.  Have played single player as well as some co-op.  The game works great both way.  However co-op is a lot more fun.  This games keeps surprising me with all the detail.  While playing co-op.  We were all over exploring the huge map.  Every part of the world was very different than the last.  Seeing the salt flats for the first time was pretty amazing.  The handling of the motorcycles and cars has improved a lot over the beta.   Pretty sure there will be patches on the way to make the game even better.  So far having a blast playing the game.  The gaol is to collect everything in the game and do every mission.   May takes months but that’s all right.
