It has been a few months since I last played Ghost Recon Breakpoint.  Put about 30 hours into and enjoyed every minute.  But put it aside because I got back into No Man’s Sky big time.  Going to have to jump back into Breakpoint because there is a new live event centered around Terminators.  I watched the trailer, which you can see > here or below, had me interested.  Not sure how it all works yet but will find out tomorrow, January 29, 2020.  It says part one.  Looked more into and over at the new post > here says part two will start February 1.  It all so stats there will be daily missions which are not replayable.  Going to give it a try and see what happens.

After playing the tech test, closed beta and open beta for Ghost Recon Breakpoint.  Knew at some point I would buy the game.  Was going to wait for a sale since Black Friday sales would start soon.  But couldn’t wait any longer.  Know there was been a lot of people online complaining about it.  They do that with every big Ubisoft game.  Have enjoyed the time I put in so far.  Played about ten hours and have only done one story mission.  Keep getting distracted by all the icons on the map.  Need to go to each one.  To see what’s there and get the loot.  All happy to report the fixed the motorcycles.  They ride like they should now,

Ghost Recon Breakpoint Open Beta Hands On

This is the third time I tired out Ghost Recon Breakpoint in some from of beta.  After giving it another quick try and more impressed with the game.  First off they fixed the motorcycle problem.  In the last beta when you let go of the gas the bike would come to a dead stop.  Now there is some momentum and they seem to handle better.  They have all so improved the character movement.  Said before I would be getting a copy.  Will be getting a copy day one now.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint Open Beta

Posted in Just something to say with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on September 25, 2019 by getbent57

With the release date (October 6, 2019) for Ghost Recon Breakpoint they are running an open beta this weekend.  It will run from September 26 to 29.  I tired the beta in a tech test and in a closed beta.  Very much like what I tired.  It has what made the game before it, Wildlands, with so much more.  There is many layers to this game.  Am sure there will be lots more once I get my hands on a full release.  If you are on the fences, the beta is a good change to check it out.  I might just give this beta a try even though I will be buying the game.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint Beta Hands On

Played a bit of the closed beta for Ghost Recon Breakpoint.  Like what I have seen.  They have improved a lot from what Wildlands started out as.  Was very impressed with how your character moves thought the different ground.  You move slower in the mud.  It’s different again in the waist high water.  Hiding in the mud is pretty cool.  All so like there are box of loot to be found.  Something like they do in The Division.  You might find a better weapon or not.  If it’s not as good or don’t like it you can break in down into parts.  I am guess you can use these parts for upgrades later on.  The shooting feels really good.  The only thing I didn’t like was the motorcycles.  Just like the first game they no fun to ride.  As soon as you let off the gas it comes to a hard stop for some reason.  That might be fixed before the game is out October 6, 2019.  Will be getting a copy for sure.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint Beta

Had a nice surprised in my email two days ago.  Received a code to take part in the beta for Ghost Recon Breakpoint.  Back in July got a code for the alpha online technical test they had.   Wasn’t allowed to talk about it for take and video/pictures because I singed a NDA.  This time I don’t think I have to. (?).  Will find out soon.  The beta runs from September 5 to 8, 2019.  You can still sign up to get in to the beta > here or you can pre-order the game.  One thing about getting the code early is you can download it now.  Just have to wait to play.

Ghost_Recon_BreakpointLast week Ubisoft announced a new Ghost Recon game called, Ghost Recon Breakpoint.  Am a huge fan of the last game Wildlands.  It is the only PlayStation game I got a Platinum trophy in.  Once I finished it never went back to it.  Think I will now.  Have read they have been add all kinds of stuff to it over the last two years.  This new game looks amazing.  Seems to have all the stuff that made that last one great will tons of new layered on top.  The one thing that stood out for me is that you can hide in the mud.  In the last game took part in the private and public betas.  This game is having a beta as well.  Have singed up for it.  Do hope I get picked.  The game will be out October 4, 2019.  They say there will be know shown at this years E3. Which takes place next month.  Check out trailer > here or below.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Review

Posted in Review's with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , on June 7, 2017 by getbent57

Have really enjoyed playing Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands.   Not only did I finish it game 100% I even got all the Trophies.  Making it the first Platinum one I ever got.  Had to take a picture.  Which you can see below.  This generation Ubisoft has made some of my favourite games.  Own more games by them then any other publishers/developer.

Am a big fun of the open world games. With big maps, lots to side missions and things to collect.  This game as has all that and more.  The map is one of the best to this date.  Every province has its own look and feel. When moving from one to another it all blends nicely.  The best parts of the game is the collecting of weapons and parts.  You can add different parts to one.  That have their own stats.  You can even have different paint for each part.  What I like most about the game is moving around the world.  There are lots of different ground and flying vehicles that are fun to use.  Then there are all the upgrades.  Depending on your play style there are hard chooses to make on which ones to upgrade at first.  You really don’t need them all but fun to get them all the same.

This is one of the best games I have played.  Had some much fun playing single player.  But even more fun in co-op.  Like the game so much thinking about buying the DLC.  High recommend playing this game.  You can’t go wrong spending you money on this one.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Hours Played

Posted in Just something to say with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , on May 15, 2017 by getbent57

It has been about over two months since I picked up a copy of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands.   Have played about 67 hours.  Around 30 of those were co-op with my brother.  Still not were near finishing the game.  Think I am around the 60% mark.  After all that time.  Still having fun.  Have said this is past posts talking about this game.  Plan to finish all the missions, get all the collectibles and unlock al the sill upgrades.  This very doable.  It will just take time.  If you thinking about getting a new game.  This is will worth the price and time.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Challenges

Posted in Just something to say with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on April 26, 2017 by getbent57

Now that challenges are a part of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands.  I had to give it a try.  Ubisoft has done this type of thing in many of their games.  This one is a bit different because.  They are going to be running it in over four different season.  Each of those will be six weeks long.  Every week there will be different challenges to complete.  Then these challenges are broken into three categories.  There which can be in solo/co-op.  One in a Task Forces.  The last ones is for everyone playing the game.   When each one is complete.   It unlocks a reward.

Gave this a go to see how well it works.  Didn’t try the Task Force one because I am not a part of one.  The community one didn’t take very long to unlock because there is a whole of people playing the game right now.  The main goal was to finish the three challenges in solo mode.  They were pretty straight forward to do.  One using yout drone to mark some many things in a certain province.   When that’s done you can move onto the next.  Which has you marking a certain number Unidad soldiers with your binoculars from at lest 100m away.   The last ones you as you manually deactivating two drone jammers in the toughest province.  Did all that.  The reward it unlocks is a copper paint job for your weapons.  Have to say it looks very nice.  Not sure what the second week will bring.  But will be checking it out.
