Spintires: MudRunner

For a few years now would seen clips and pictures of a PC game with this very realistic look mud.  The game is called Spintires.  A while back read there will be a version for consoles called Spintires: MudRunner. (There is a new version out.  Just found out, Spintires: MudRunner American Wilds)  Have seen copies in stores for a while.  They wanted to much money for it so never bothered.  All so there is no demo on the PlayStation 4.  Well a few days back.  Got to try it out.  A friend as it on his Xbox One though game pass.  While the game is not prefect.  The user interface is very odd.  The gameplay is fun and challenging.  Still no sure if I will buy a copy.  If I can find it real cheap I might.

Far Cry 4 Gameplay Video

One of my must buy games coming out this year is Far Cry 4.  As you may know am a huge fan of Far Cry 3.  It was one of the very few games were I got 100% complete.  Last week was GamesCon, it is like E3 but over in Europe.  There was lots of game video that come out of that show.  Over at GameSpot.com the have a ten minute video showing off three different parts of the game.  There is on spoilers (as I know of).  After watching it has a lot of the same features of part three that makes the game so great.  The new things they show off as well look pretty cool.  The game will be out November 18, 2014.  The only downside it Assassin’s Creed: Unity comes out a few week before this one.  Which I will be getting day one as well.  You can see that gameplay video > here or below.

Batman: Arkham Knight Delayed

There is some bad news.  One of the big games coming out this fall has been delayed.   Batman: Arkham Knight has been pushed back to 2015.   The game was set to be out in October for PS4, PC and Xbox one.  Rocksteady Studios have delayed the game because to ensure the quality of the game.  There is some good news the game will be at E3.  Were we will get to see the Batmobile in action.  Speaking of the Batmobile when the announced the delay they put out a in video showing off the weapons the Batmobile has.  You can see that > here or below.  Have to say it looks like the coolest one yet.

Batman: Arkham Knight Gameplay Trailer

Have more pre E3 goodness to share.  Back on May 21, 2014.  The people from Rocksteady Studios have put out the first gameplay trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight.  Have to say it looks pretty awesome.  If this is true gameplay this game will look better than a lot of movies out there.  They are saying the city will be five times the size it was in Arkham City.  This is because you will get to drive the Batmobile.  Which all so looks awesome.  This game is one of the main reasons I will be buying a PS4 soon.  The game is not out until October.  But am sure there will be lots of info from this years E3.  You can check out the trailer > here or below.  It is called Evening The Odds.

Far Cry 4

Have know that for a little while now that Far Cry 4 is in the works.  Back in March it was first reported that the game would be out in 2015.  How ever on May 15, 2014 it was announced the game will be out November 18, 2014.  Which is awesome news.  So there is yet one more game coming this fall I have to get.  It was first reported that it was for PlayStation 4,Xbox One and PC.  However now it will be all so on as last gen as well, PS3 and Xbox 360.  The game is set in the Himalayas is a place called Kyrat.  Were a self-appointed king has taken over.  It will play similar to Far Cry 3.  Which is one of my all time favourites.  So looking forward to E3 to see what the game will look like.

Batman: Arkham Knight

I know I have been talking about Batman related stuff a lot lately.  But you can never get enough Batman.  Have some more cool news to share about the up coming game, Batman: Arkham Knight.   This is the newest in the Arkham games.  Which is only coming out for the PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.  This game is one more reason for me to buy a Playstation 4.  Talking about is game again because was looking though new articles over at Nerdist.com.  They have posted some new screenshots.  They look pretty sweet.  Picked the ones I like the most (below).  You can see the rest > here.   The game will be out October 14, 2014.

   

  

Batman: Arkham Knight

Some very awesome news came out on March 4, 2014.  There is a new Batman game coming out this year.  It’s called Batman: Arkham Knight.  Loved the first two games.  Have the third and will be playing that soon.  Arkham Knight is set to take place a year after Arkham City (the second game).   It said it will be a bigger city.  Oh, you will all so get to drive the Batmobile.  Which is pretty sweet.  The games looks amazing from the trailer > here or below.  It’s a true next gen game.  Because it’s only coming out for PS4, Xbox One and PC.  So there is another great reason for to pick up a Playstation 4.  Not 100% sure when it will be out.  But have read October 14, 2014.

Next Gen Consoles

The big E3 press conferences took place yesterday, June 10, 2013.  So we now know what Xbox One will cost and what the PlayStation 4 looks like as well as the price.  The Xbox One will cost $500 on sale in November 2013.  The PlayStation 4 will be $400 on sale this “holiday season”.   So my guess in November some time as well.  Just in time for black Friday in the states.  That $100 differences I think will make a lot of people think twice before for buy an Xbox.  Then there is the the whole DRM thing Xbox has going on.  When you buy a game it is stored on the hard drive.  The XBox one must be connected to the internet for the game to work.  After that the Xbox must connect to the internet every 24 hours to verify that that your games are only on that one systems.  These has a lot of people up in arms.  It makes selling you games harder.  All so lending you games to a friend will be a pain as well.  On the other hand Sony says they will be doing none of that.  They even poked a bit of fun at Microsoft in this little video > here.   One thing that will be different for PlayStation this gen is you will have to have a PlayStation Plus to play online (could be wrong about that).    Over all it very interesting E3 so far and it is only getting started.  Then there are the games.  The ones they showed of at all the press conferences look amazing.  Check out all the gaming websites the week and you will see all kinds of awesome stuff.  Oh, all most forgot Gamespot.com has put together a nice video explaining the two big consoles what we know so far.  You can check it out > here.   They do a much better job than I do explaining things.
