PlayStation: State Of Play December 2019

Didn’t think Sony would have another PlayStation: State Of Play this year.  But they had one December 10, 2019.  On they sixth they made a post > here, saying they are going to have new game reveals, release date announcements as well as other things.  The only thing that stood out for me is they teased there will be a Ghost of Tsushima video late in the week.   You can see the State of Play > here or below.

PlayStation: State Of Play September 2019

There is a new PlayStation: State Of Play.  This is the third time they did one of these.  Remember the last one wasn’t that great.  They build this hype around these videos and they are nothing more then a video blog post.  This ones is a bit different.  It was longer and it seems they put more effort into it.  The announced a bunch of stuff.  A of it was VR related.   The big game they talked about is The Last of Us Part 2.  Which will be out in February 2020.  Looking forward to trying that one out.  You can see the video > here or below.

PlayStation: State Of Play Two

Sony has put out their second State of Play video(May 9, 2019).  The first one was back in March (2019).  These short videos are designed to show off up coming games.  The first one was a bit underwhelming.  It mostly showed off VR games.  In there blog post (linked above) they say they are going to have a first look at a new title.

Was all so bit underwhelmed with this one was  well.  They showed off five games and DLC for another.  Only spending about two minutes on each.  There big reveal at the end was tease for the Final Fantasy VII Remake.  You can see the video for yourself > here or below.

PlayStation: State Of Play

A lot of game companies have been doing live streams or videos on upcoming games for many years now.  Sony is getting into it now as well.  Yesterday (March 25, 2019) they had their first “episode” of what they are calling State of Play.  It is designed to show case upcoming PS4 and PS VR games.  They will/did have new game announcements with gameplay as well.   Missed the live stream.  However they uploaded it later so we can all see if you missed out as well.  You can give it a watch > here or below.

Was a bit underwhelmed with this video.  The only thing that stood out for me is the new big update for No Man’s Sky.  It will add true multiplayer.  In this video the update will all so make the full game playable in VR.  Think that would be cool to try.
