Have seen a bunch of video on YouTube where people are using these Deburring Tools to clean up their 3D prints. It looks like a bent blade with a handle. Took a quick look on Amazon.ca. Seen there are all kinds of options going for $20.00 and up. Have all seen some 3D printing kits that these with other tools in the box. That might be something to look into as well.

Have 3D printed a useful item the other day. A friend is adding new fans to his PC and asked if I could print of fan mount. He found this > here over at Thingiverse.com. Gave it a try and it turned out great. This is the first time I had printed anything that had 100% infill. Figured it would take really long. But only three hours. Could have printed it faster but I like to keep the quality.

Came across another awesome thing I would like to 3D print. It is a toy Darkwing Duck gas gun. Can remember seeing this show a few times as a kid. You can give it a look > here over at Printables.com. It comes in 18 parts. Once done printing you glue together. Own have black PLA so if I do get around to printing this will just paint the parts after.

A few posts backed talking about his > here over at Thingiverse.com. It’s a Batman model that doesn’t need supports to print. Well I have printed it. Came home from work and was off then next day. So got it going in the afternoon and let it print over night. The next day when I got up it was still going. Took a bit under 18 hours. Am happy with how it turned out. While it does say support free I did add a brim. So just need to do some light sanding. Don’t think I will paint this. Looks pretty cool in black PLA.

It has been many months since I did any painting of the 3D models I have been working on. Back in November (2022) talked about the Slurm can that came with the 3D model Fry from Futurama > here over at Printables.com. Had upscaled the can, printed the parts, glued them together and then primed it. Since then it has sat on the shelve untouched. Well until a few days ago started painting again. Am hoping to have it done by the end of the week.

This time it’s another Batman. This > here over at Thingiverse.com. What makes this one standout it is support free but all so has lots of detail. Going to download it and see what scale I will print it at. Would like to have it pretty big. However if it takes too long, over a day, will change that.

Was looking for some more Bob’s Burgers 3D files to print. Then seen this > here over at Thingiverse.com. It is a cheeseburger. Think it’s funny and cool at the same time. Looking at all the parts. It might be hard to print the cheese and lettuce. Going to look at it closer. May be I will add this to the growing to print list.

A few posts backed talked out printing a Court of Owls Mask found > here over at Printables.com. Well I got around to doing that. Scaled it down to 40%. Didn’t want a full size mask. All so it would have taken way too long to print, well over a day. Before printing it. Played around with the best way to support. In the end tilted to 35 degrees and added three supports. Am happy with how it turned out. May be at some point will make a full size version.

Have 3D printed a few Batman related files. Have found another to had to the make list. You can see it > here over at Thingiverse. It has his face sitting on top of Batman text which is raised up. It looks cool and should be simple to print. Might give it a try on my next day off.
