Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 1

Well today is the day (December 5, 2023) we get the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI.  Have been a big fan of this series since the very first game.  So will be getting this day one.  However that is still a long way off.  It’s set to be out sometime in 2025.  So really hate that some games are announced then it years before they come out.  In cases you missed it or want to see it again you can > here or below.

GTA 6 Trailer Coming In December

A few days ago Rockstar Games made an announcement about the next Grand Theft Auto game.   This December (2023) will mark their 25th anniversary.  To celebrate they will be putting out a trailer.  You can read their Newswire post > here.  Am looking forward to this.  Have been a big of these  games from day one.  Will keep my fingers cross the game will be out in 2024.

GTA Vice City – Crash, Smash & Dash – Remake?

Now that I have a copy of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition on it’s way.  Got thinking maybe I should remake an old video which I did in the early 2000’s.   Back in 2006 put on YouTube and called it GTA Vice City – Crash, Smash & Dash.  You can check it out > here.  Last summer when going though some old backups hoping to find the original footage.  Didn’t have any luck.  So thinking it might be fun to try and recapture some of the same scenes.  Sure I will have to use as new soundtrack. But that’s no big deal.

GTA Vice City – Crash, Smash & Dash

Am revisiting an old video I made back in the early 2000’s.  If you every stopped by this blog you will know I am a big GTA fan.  Back in 2002 when Vice City was out.  Was playing it non-stop.  At this time was trying my hand at video editing.  Had a Windows 98SE with 64MB of ram and a 20GB hard drive.  My PS2 was hooked to the VCR and that was attracted to the TV.  So would record footage every now again.  Around that time got myself a Dazzle video capture box thing.  This let you plug in RCA cables to the box and then into the computer though USB.  At the time it was mind-blowing and the footage looked great.  Well not so much 15 years later.  You can see the video > here or below.  It is the most popular video I have.  With over 87,000 views.  Not sure if I still have the original footage.  Going to check and see.  May be I can make a new 15 years later version.

GTA San Andreas PS4

Have put some more time into the PS4 version of GTA San Andreas.  Sure it’s a bit dated by today standards and the controls take some time getting used to.  That being said there is still fun to be had.  Played a hand full of the opening missions which act as tutorials.  Some of them I remember while others not so much.  There is one where you have to break into a house and take three crates.  Remember that one but forgot all about what that unlocks.  If you find a certain box truck it unlock a side missions which lets you break into other places.  Out of all the hours I put into the game back in the day don’t think I ever did any of those.

GTA San Andreas PS4

It was last September (2019) that bought the GTA Trilogy for the PlayStation 4.  Played the hell out of this back in the PS2 days.  The price was right so that’s why I bought them.  But never tried them out on till a few days ago.  When I booted up San Andreas.  This is my favourite of that bunch.  It will take some time to get used to the controls since they are a bit dated now.  All so find the games stutters in spots.  Not sure why.  Think I will try turning off widescreen.  The game was meant to be played 4:3 any way.  While I have all kinds of new games to play.  Think I will pick my why though this one.

GTA Online Gaming The Casino

In this weeks video for the YouTube Channel, I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry, have another on GTA Online. A few videos back had one a Real or Fake Glitch in GTA online. Decided to make another. GTA Online Real or Fake Glitch

In this weeks video for the YouTube Channel, I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry, have a video on a glitch in GTA Online.  Is it real or fake.  Have been playing GTA Online off and on since it stated back in 2013. Gotten back into again.  Looked up ways to make money quicker.  Came across a bunch of “glitch” videos. Some of them seemed so far fetched I had to try one out.  Which you can see > here or below.

PlayStation Games

The other day decided to play some of my old PlaySation One games.  The first one I played was Final Doom.  This game as released in 1996.  This was before the DualShock controller was released so there was no analog control.  So spent most of the time fighting with the controls.  Used to be able to play this game with no problem.  I guess after years of using dual analog sticks to play FPS you can never go back.  Next game I played was Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown.  This one was released in 1997.  Bought this one bran new after renting in one time.  Used to play this one all the time.  Yet again fought with the controls. Again it was before analog sticks.  So gave up playing that and put in the very first Grand Theft Auto.  Another game I bought after renting.  This game was pretty cool back then.  The only problem it would give me headaches.  This was because the game has a top down look.  When you drive faster the game would zoom out and back in as you crashed (which happened a lot) or slowed down.   Well only played for a few minutes and had to stop.  Was making my head feel funny.  Decided to play one more game.  Think it has to be my all time favourite PlayStation one game, Medal of Honor.  This one did have dual analog control since it was released in 1999.  For being all most 15 years old they game you a lot of different control options.  So picked the one that most modern games have.  Used to play the hell out of this game back in the day.  Was so good at this game I could play the first level with out ever getting hit at all.  Played the first two levels.  While it is pretty tame and easy compared to modern games.  It was still fun.  Think I will go back and see if I can finish the game.
