Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Trade Paperbacks

I have fallen behind on collecting IDW’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trade paperbacks.  It has been about two years since I last bought one.  Took a look at the volume list over at Wikipedia (> here).  There are five more as I am typing this (March 5, 202) that I need to add to the collection.  Think I will break them up into two or three orders of the next few months.  Because It would be too much money to put out at just one time.

IDW’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Have been collecting IDW’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trade paperbacks for years now.  Have so many now that I never read them all.  Buy them when they come out.  But end up putting them a side because I am reading something else at the time.  Got thinking I need to re-read the ones I have and keep going with the rest.  Think it will make some quick reviews for each to be uploaded to the I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry YouTube Channel.  There are two more volumes out I need to order off Amazon.  With things the way they are just might wait a bit.

Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II

Last summer (2017) The IDW and DC teamed up to put together a The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Batman comic.  Should says that is when the trade paperback was out.  Well they are at it again.  Just seen on Amazon.ca the the second volume, Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II, will be out August 14, 2018.  Right now they are only listing a hardcover.  But pretty sure there will be a paperback as well.  Will be getting a copy of sure.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Universe Volume 1

Last year (2016) learned that IDW was putting other TMNT comic book series.  Which is still set in the same world as the main series.  They call it Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Universe.  Collect all the main series and off shoot trade paperbacks.  So the more the better.  This past September bought a copy of the first issue of the comic.  Which was really good.  So decided than that I would collect the trades for this line as well.  At the first of May the first trade was out.  Ordered a copy.  Should be here some time this week.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Universe Volume 1

This past September (2016) bought the first issue of IDW’s, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Universe.  This is there second series of comics set in the same world there main TMNT line.  Which I buy all the trade paperbacks for.  Well just found out when the Universe first trade will be out.  According to Amazon.ca it will be released April 18, 2017.  You can check it out > here.  Will be adding this to my must buy list.  Not sure if they are going to be keeping going with this series.  Hope they do, the more TMNT the better.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Universe

Back in April (2016) learned that IDW was put out a second series of TMNT comics called, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Universe.  If you have ever stopped by this blog.  You will know I am a big Ninja Turtles fan and have been collecting the main trade paperbacks.  As well the mini series books they put out.  From what I understand this Universe line is set in the same world but will forces on different and new bad guys.

Well the other day was in the comic book store in town.  Seen they had the first issues there.  So I bought it.  Have not bought a single issue of comic since I was a kid.  First off this new series is off to a great start.  It looks great.  The story line is every well done.  Being the first issue it ends with a cliffhanger.  What I liked most about it was the new bad guy/s.  The main one looks pretty amazing.

Would like to pick up the second issue but think I will wait for the trade paperback.  For two reason, get all the story at one time.  The second it price.  The cover price is $5.00.  Which is not bad.  However the store had a mark up because of the Canadian low dollar,  then there is tax on top of that.  So it cost me $7.18.

Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volume 1

Back in February (2016) learned that DC’s Batman and IDW’s The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles team up would be out in trade paper back.  When I first made the post Amazon.ca has it listed for a release of July 19, 2016.  How it is August 23.  Not that big of a deal.  Will be be buy a copy for sure.  My two favourites comic heroes in one book.  Is awesome.  You can see the Amazon listing > here

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Universe

If you are a Ninja Turtles fan like myself.  Have some good news.  The people at IDW are put out another one going series of their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics.   This new line will be called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Universe.  Which I think will run in the same time line as the main series.  The stories according the the IGN article > here,  “will tell stories focused on various supporting characters in the TMNT world. Characters named by series editor Bobby Curnow include Casey Jones, Fugitoid, Old Hob, April, Nobody, Harold, and Baxter Stockman, plus he teased we’ll get a couple brand new villains.”

Have been colleting all the Ninjas Turtles trade paperbacks as the come out.  Enjoyed every one of them.  So the more the better.   The first issue will be out some time in August (2016).  Not sure when there will be the first trade paperback.  But when I find out will be back to tell you.

Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volume 1

Back in September (2015) leaned that Batman and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were teaming up for a new comic book mini-series.  The first issue was out that December.  When I first read this this I as supper happy because these are my two favourite comic book heroes.  Knew at some point there would be a trade paperback out.  Happy to say from the listing on Amazon.ca > here it will be out July 19, 2016.  Have added it to my wish list.  Can’t wait to read it.

Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Two of my favourite comic book heroes are teaming up, Batman and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  Read about this back in June (2015).  There wasn’t much info back then.   However here now is.  DC and IDW are putting together this crossover.  The story will take place in Gotham.  Where Batman will discover there are ninjas in town, The Foot.  That is were the Turtles come into play.  Because they are on their trail.  You might be asking how can this happen.  Like most Turtle stories there will be dimensional travel.  Issue one goes on sale December 9, 2015 and will be 32 pages.  You can read more about it > here.  Am very interested in checking this out.  Think I will be wait for the trade paperback to come out.
