The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition On PC

Only got one item during the black Friday sales.  It was The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition of PC.  Have owned the base game on the PS4 since it came out back in 2015.  Was going to wait to get my hands on a PS5 before playing this again.  However couldn’t pass up the great deal they had on Steam.  It’s the full game, the two add on packs and all the DLC.  Then it will get the full upgrade come this December 14, 2022.  All that for $14.00 plus tax, total of $16.10.   Couldn’t pass up that deal.  Am sure it will run pretty good on my mini PC since it does run New World well.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Next Gen Trailer

Back on November 23, 2022 they put out some info and trailer for the next gen update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.   You can see that > here or below.  If you watch it, it highlights what the chances are.   Own of copy for my PS4.  So when I do get my hands on PS5 the upgrade to this version will be free. If you get it for the PS5 or Xbox Series X the game will be digital only first.  They say there will be a disc at some point.  All so very temped to buy the complete edition for PC.  Since it is (or was) on sale for Black Friday.  This update/upgrade will be out December 14, 2022.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Next Gen News

For years now we have known that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was getting a next gen update.  Well last week (November 14, 2022) they announced it is coming December 14, 2022 to the PS5, Xbox Series and PC.  Know other info was giving.  Other than they would be doing a livestream this week.  Will be keeping an eye on this.  Really want to play this awesome game again when I get my hands on a PS5.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Next Gen News

It has been known since 2020 that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is getting a next gen upgrade (PS5 and Xbox Series).   Well the other day (May 19, 2022) to mark its 7th anniversary they put out some news.  “We’re delighted to share that the Next Gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is planned to release in Q4 2022.”    So this coming October, November or December it will be out.  If you all ready have a copy for a PS4 or XBox One and have the new systems there will a free upgrade.  Still have my day one PS4 copy.  So when I do mange to get my hands on a PS5 will be playing this game all over again.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

It has been many years since I have last played The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.  Thinking about starting a new game.  Was planning on doing that when I finished watching the first season of The Witcher on Netflix but never got around to it.  Then I was going to hold off for the next gen update coming for the PS5 and Xbox Series.  However don’t think that will be happing any time soon.  Plus I still haven’t seen a PS5 in stores yet.  Now that I have finished watching season two of The Witcher it has been on my mind again.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt On Next Gen

Have some awesome news to share if you are a fan of the game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.  The games in coming to next gen consoles, PS5 and Xbox Series X.  They have a post which you can read > here.   It will available as on disc.  However the best part is.  If all ready own a copy there will free update for the new version.  Not sure how this will work yet.  But my guess is you will put the original disc in the news system and it will download the full new game to your hard drive.  I have the day one copy for my PS4 so I hope this will get the free upgrade and not just the Complete Edition.  Will be keeping and eye out for more info.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

While I have a big back log of PS4 games to play. Thinking about going though The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt again. Because it has been five years since it came out.  All so because I got around to start watching the Netflix The Witcher show.  As of typing this only watched the first episode.  So thinking I should wait to see all the season first before jumping back in.  Wild Hunt is one of the best games every made.  Do believe it is the only big open world RPG I played though started to finish twice.  So jut make it three times.

The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

One of my all time favorite games is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.  Never played the other games in the series.  Mostly because back then they came out they were on PC.  Which I didn’t have one that could run them.  They were all so on the Xbox but didn’t have one.  If you are like me and want to try them out.  We are in luck.  GOG.com is giving the The Witcher: Enhanced Edition for free.  Of course there is a bit of catch to it.  But nothing too complicated.  Well you need to have a GOG account.  The next thing you have to do is download the free game GWENT.  If you never heard of this.  It is a card game which was featured first in the Wild Hunt game.  It came super popular.  So they made a standalone game. Have you do that there is a link > here and subscribe to their newsletter.  Once that is done you can download the first game. This doesn’t take long.  Not sure when I will get around to playing it.  But free game is a free game.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Patch 1.30

This is another big patch out now for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, numbered 1.30..  Didn’t think there would be any more after they put a big one back in June to go along with the last DLC.  Thinking for sure this will be the last one.  Because there is a new version of the game.   The game of the year edition or some places are calling the complete edition.  This version will have all the DLC and this new patch on disc.  So you haven’t played this game yet now might be a good time to jump in.  You can read about all the changes > here.  The patch and new version of the game were out August 30, 2016.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Once again talking about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.  Back in May (2016) decided to play from the very beginning.  There has been many patches to the game.  Making it so much better play.   They over hauled the menu screens.  So much easier to navigate around.  As I am typing this (July 10, 2016) have played about 65 hours and am at character lvl 22.  Don’t think I am very close to finishing this any time so.   Most because of all the side quests that are so good.  Just might try to focuses more on the main storyline.  Say this every time I talk about The Witcher 3.  This is on of the best games ever made.  If you haven’t picked it up do so.  However if you want all the DLC and what not.  Have read that here is a game of the year edition coming out soon.

[Update] July 15,  Have played 70 hours and at level 25.  Think I am on the last few main missions.
