The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Next Gen Trailer

Back on November 23, 2022 they put out some info and trailer for the next gen update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.   You can see that > here or below.  If you watch it, it highlights what the chances are.   Own of copy for my PS4.  So when I do get my hands on PS5 the upgrade to this version will be free. If you get it for the PS5 or Xbox Series X the game will be digital only first.  They say there will be a disc at some point.  All so very temped to buy the complete edition for PC.  Since it is (or was) on sale for Black Friday.  This update/upgrade will be out December 14, 2022.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Next Gen News

For years now we have known that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was getting a next gen update.  Well last week (November 14, 2022) they announced it is coming December 14, 2022 to the PS5, Xbox Series and PC.  Know other info was giving.  Other than they would be doing a livestream this week.  Will be keeping an eye on this.  Really want to play this awesome game again when I get my hands on a PS5.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Next Gen News

It has been known since 2020 that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is getting a next gen upgrade (PS5 and Xbox Series).   Well the other day (May 19, 2022) to mark its 7th anniversary they put out some news.  “We’re delighted to share that the Next Gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is planned to release in Q4 2022.”    So this coming October, November or December it will be out.  If you all ready have a copy for a PS4 or XBox One and have the new systems there will a free upgrade.  Still have my day one PS4 copy.  So when I do mange to get my hands on a PS5 will be playing this game all over again.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

It has been many years since I have last played The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.  Thinking about starting a new game.  Was planning on doing that when I finished watching the first season of The Witcher on Netflix but never got around to it.  Then I was going to hold off for the next gen update coming for the PS5 and Xbox Series.  However don’t think that will be happing any time soon.  Plus I still haven’t seen a PS5 in stores yet.  Now that I have finished watching season two of The Witcher it has been on my mind again.

The Witcher Season Two

Finished watching season two of The Witcher a few nights back.   Did enjoy this season just not a much as the first.  Lots of cool and interesting things happened.  Just felt like it was holding back with the scale.  Do understand why with the time they filmed it. The storyline was easer to follow along with.  Which I know some people will enjoy.  What I enjoyed the most was the twist at the end.  Not going to spoil it.  However when I think about it not sure how I didn’t see that coming.  It does leave you wanting more episodes.  Not sure when a third season will happen but hope it’s not years away.

The Witcher Season Two Trailer

As well get closer to season two of The Witcher starting on Netflix December 17, 2021.  They put out a new trailer.  This one shows off a lot more than the last.  As big as the first season was think this one will be even bigger.  With lots of cool things happening.  Very much looking forward to see it.  This time around am going to start watching it right way.  The first season I waited months before jumping in and had some of it spoiled.  This all so has me thinking about playing the Witcher 3 Wild Hunt again.  You can see the new trailer > here or below.

The Witcher Season Two Trailer

We have known now for awhile that season two of The Witcher will be on Netflix starting December 17, 2021.  Which is not too far way when you think about it.  Do have some new news to share a few days ago Netflix put out a whole lot of trailers and teases for upcoming projects.  One in which is the trailer for season two.  Which you can see > here or below.  I must say it looks really good.  With the first season I waited months before watching.  This time will be doing so right away.

The Witcher Season Two

There was online live video event out on July 9 (2021) call WitcherCon.  In that they talked about the show The Witcher and the games.  An a big fan of the third game as well as the Netflix show.  Didn’t watch this video but did read some of highlights.  Think the biggest news is the air date for season two of the show, December 17, 2021.  When the first season was out waited many months before watching.  Don’t think I will be with this season.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt On Next Gen

Have some awesome news to share if you are a fan of the game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.  The games in coming to next gen consoles, PS5 and Xbox Series X.  They have a post which you can read > here.   It will available as on disc.  However the best part is.  If all ready own a copy there will free update for the new version.  Not sure how this will work yet.  But my guess is you will put the original disc in the news system and it will download the full new game to your hard drive.  I have the day one copy for my PS4 so I hope this will get the free upgrade and not just the Complete Edition.  Will be keeping and eye out for more info.

The Witcher Omnibus

As I am typing this (August 16, 2020) just finished watching the Netflix series, The Witcher.  I know I am late too the party.  Have enjoyed the show a lot an am a big fan of the Wild Hunt game.  Want to know more about this world.  First got thinking about getting copies of the books they are based on.  However all know their is a comic books as well.  Was looking at getting the trades but discovered there is an Omnibus.  This is a full collection of that comic series in one big book.  It is called The Witcher Omnibus, asking price of $33.65 on Amazon.ca.  Thinking I will add this to my wish list.
