Finished watching the documentary series This is Pop on Netflix. Over all it was pretty good. Just some of the episodes were much better than others. That’s one good thing about that. They are not connected, so you can watch in any order or skip over ones your not interested in. Did learn some interesting facts about the music industry. One is, that auto tune has been around much longer than you think. If you are into music this series is worth checking out.

Watched the first episode. Thought it was interesting and will watch the others. Got thinking, remember hearing about this last year some time. Turns out it aired on CTV back in 2021. It’s nice to see some Canadian made content showing up on Netflix. The synopsis, “ This Is Pop is an eight-part docuseries investigating the music industry. The episodes will delve deep into various different aspects of popular music from country to hip-hop, and will include interviews and snippets from some of the world’s biggest music artists.”
