Queen – Who Wants To Live Forever

Time once again for musical throwback Thursday.  With the movie Bohemian Rhapsody out soon (November 2, 2018) figured it was a good time to pick one of my favourite Queen songs, Who Wants to Live Forever.  This is off their 1986 album A Kind of Magic.  Some of the songs are on the soundtrack for the movie Highlander.  I first heard this song on the Classic Queen tape.  You can give it a watch/listen > here or below.

Emily West – Who Wants to Live Forever

While flipping though the TV channels a few days back.  Caught the highlights from America’s Got Talent.  This show is not on my must watch list.  But there was a lady on there in a red dress with this 40’s pinup look singing one of my all time favourite songs, Who Wants to Live Forever.   That is one of many awesome Queen songs.  After I seen that had to go on YouTube to hear it again. Her name is Emily West. She made the song sound powerful.  All I can say it is a much listen/watch.  It is only a shame she didn’t get to sing the whole song.  That sucks about this TV shows.  They all ways cut things down.  Hope at some point will get to hear her sign the full song.  You can check that video out > here or below.

Queen – Who Wants To Live Forever

Have been a fan of Queen’s music ever since I was young.  Ever now and again I sit down and listen to all my favourites.  There are so many awesome song.  Here are a few of them, Hammer To Fall, One Vision and A Kind of Magic just to  name a few.  There is one song that all ways that sticks with me.  It all ways picks me up if I am a bad mood.  It is Who Wants to Live Forever.  It is one of those songs that can send a shiver up you spine.  It helps if you put on a good pair headphones.
