Just before Christmas while shopping took a look at the cheap game section and seen two games on my want list. The Crew 2 and Trials Rising. Have tired both back when they were in beta. Did like both games but wasn’t going to pay full price for them. So when I seem them so cheap had to get them. The Crew 2 is just the regular version. However was surprised to see that Trails was the Gold Edition. It is the game plus the Expansion Pass. A great deal for $30.00 each.

Have a bonus video this week for the I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry YouTube channel. Played Trails Rising Open Beta. Am a fan of the Trails games. They can be very fun but all so very frustrating. There is a point where the tracks become too hard. Am sure this version will have that as well. If the game is cheap enough just might pick it put. You can see my gameplay footage > here and below.

Trails Rising Open Beta Hands On

Am a fan of theses games. So having a new ones is cool. Pre-loaded the game February 19, 2019. Then the beta ran from February 21 to 24. It plays much like that previous game. This time around there is a lot more details in the world. Was having fun with the game. When you level up you unlock a loot box. Its not a big deal. Until I seen you can spend real money to buy in game points to unlock more boxes. I know many games do that. Just seems out of place now since many big title games (even some Ubisoft) have gotten lots a flack for having them. Over all did enjoy the beta. Just might buy the full game. Do have an upcoming video on the beta over at the I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry YouTube channel. So watch out of that.
Trails Rising Open Beta

It is called Trails Rising. I do like the Trails game and own a copy of Trails Fusion. The can be very fun in spots. They are all so challenging but then you hit a wall and can’t go any farther. That is when the gaming rage kicks in. Do want to try this new one just to see if it any good. If you are like me. We are in luck. Where will be an open beta. Which runs from February 21 to 24, 2019. Then the full game is out on the 26th. If you don’t want to waste time during the beta downloading. You can start pre-loading on the 19th. Will be doing that. Don’t think the file will be too big.
