Top Gear Update

Here I got again talking about Top Gear.  Just a reminder that the US version airs tonight (Nov 21, 2010) on History channel.  Not to sure when or if it will air in Canada.  Hope it does.  Did a quick search and it looks the the UK version will start back up with series sixteen in January 2011.  The sites says it is expecting to start January 23, 2011.

Top Gear American Series

Just check to see then when the American version of Top Gear was going to start.  It is starting very soon, November 21, 2010 soon.  Watched the latest preview.  I am still not sold on this version.  May it because I love the real version of Top Gear.  Will give this new version a change.   From what I have been reading the UK version of Top Gear is going to start some time in January 2011.

Top Gear U.S.: Preview

There is a new preview video out for the US version of Top Gear.  Not to sure when the show is going to star on the History channel.  My guess is some time this fall.  After watching the video.  The way the shots are put together pretty much the same as the UK version.  The big let down are the host.  They come across as boring. They don’t seem to have the same passion as the UK show.  Can’t judge to much since I have not seen a full show.  I wait and see how it turns out.

Top Gear U.S. Series

If you have read my blog you know I love Top Gear.  There is now an America version coming out.  I have heard about this before but it never took off.  Well now it looks like it will be on in the fall on the History network.  From the trailer I watched (below)  I am not too sure about it.  It may fallow the same ideas the the real show but I can’t see it have the same fun factor as the real show.  Those guys are the best.  They way the British do comedy is a thousand times better than the states.  How ever I could be wrong about the show.  It might end up being good.  Time will tell.
