Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season Two

This fall TV line is looking pretty awesome.  With all the new comic book to TV shows coming out.  All so the other coming back for another season.  Looking forward to see what Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.LD. season two will bring to the table.  Think this season will be bigger and better.  Last season they had to work events from the Marvel’s movies into the show.  Not sure if they will have to do that this time around.  Think it would better if they could go there own way.  Than have events from the show worked into the movies.  Time will tell.  Season two starts September 23, 2014.  Oh there is a bit of a teaser out.  You can see that > here or below.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season One Review

Season one of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.LD. end this past Tuesday (May 13, 2014).  It may not be the best show on TV but its a lot better than others.  Enjoyed watching these season.  Like all good shows the characters are not the same from the first episode to the last.  There wasn’t a lot of action scenes for a comic book inspired show but that is all right.  Because all the characters were every interesting.  Another mark of a good show is they ask questions then answer them.  They did that really well.  The show has been picked up for a second season.  Think that one will be bigger and better.

This is an a really good show.  The plot is all ways moving and throwing in twists.  There are some downsides like not very much super hero stuff from a show with Marvel in the title.  How ever it is still fun and interesting.  This is well worth your time.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

There is only a few episodes left in season one of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.LD.  I have really liked this show.  Know that there are some out there saying it’s boring.  I think it is a very interesting.  While there is not much action there are lots of cool plot twits.  If you watch the first episode and they last one that aired (April 22, 2014) you will see how much everything has changed.  The show could of went down the Law and Order/CSI road with a crazy story each episode where they don’t link together.  But it doesn’t, which is good.  Here is not much superhero stuff which has some people not liking the show.  The way I look at it is the superhero stuff is for the movies.  The show is called Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D for a reason.  It is about them.  As I am typing this (April 24, 2014) there are three episodes left in the season.  Will do a full review once the season is over.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Have seen the first episode of the new TV show Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.LD..  What interesting about this show is it takes place i the same world as the past few years Marvel’s movies.  In this world it takes place right after the 2012 movie The Avengers.  When I first heard about this show.  Didn’t think it would be that good.  But I was very surprised at how just good it is.  Mind you it was only one episode.  Not sure if the show will follow the new TV trend of each episode blending into the next.  Or the old way each episode as a standalone.  Time will tell.  I know I will be watching just to see how it all turns out.

[Update]  Had this post typed up after the first episode air but did not post it until today. The day after the second episode aired.  Am very impressed with the second episode.  Will be watching the whole season.  Very good show.

The Avengers Blu-ray Review

After hearing how great Marvel’s The Avengers is.  I got to sit down and watch it on Blu-ray.  Kept hear how it is the greatest superhero movie ever and awesome it is.   I must say it is pretty cool.  It does raise the bar for every comic book movie that will come after it.  Did enjoy watching this.  It was like they made a live action cartoon.  The thing I didn’t really like was I am tried of seen the good guys beat up aliens or robots or alien/robot things.  I know why the film makes does this, but I think I am a bit spoiled by the way the Batman movies do things.

There is lots of fun to be had watching this movie.  Not sure why it took this long to make a proper superhero team up movie.  But now that it is out and is awesome.  There is no way they can go back and make a crap comic book movie every again.

The Avengers Blu-ray

After work today I went to pick up a copy of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1 since it was out today (September 25, 2012).  Then I was the display for The Avengers.  I didn’t see this movie when it was in theatres.  Keep hearing it was so good.  So I was looking the the million different version thinking should I or shouldn’t I buy this as well.  If you can guess from the title of the post I ended up getting it.  Plan to watch it the next day I have off.  So watch out for my review.  But first I have to watch Batman.
