Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volume 7: City Fall Part 2 Review

Have finished reading Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volume 7: City Fall Part 2.  Just love IDW’s new take of the Ninja Turtles.  Say that ever time I review one of these trade paperbacks.  The story and art seen to get better and better every time.  The art work is sharp, clear and bright.  The main plot of this one has the the Turtles and friends trying to find Leo.  Who has taken by Shredder then brain washed to be Shredders second in command.  Well all so get to see Bebop and Rocksteady for the first time.

If you are old like me and remember the old cartoon show.  You will remember the characters and their stories.  They were cool when we were kids but now are pretty crappy.  That is what’s great about these books.  Its the same characters but way better.  They seem more adult and less silly.  Recommend these trade paperbacks to any one weather you are a fan of the Turtles or comic books.  Every thing about them are awesome

Graphic Novels

Have order two new graphic novels (February 13, 2014) .  Was just taking a look at Amazon.ca again to see what new was there.  Seen one trade paper back I wanted was in stock, with only 8 copies left.  That one is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volume 7: City Fall Part 2.   Was a bit surprised at that since one place I read said it wasn’t out until the 18th.  All so Amazon.ca first said it wouldn’t be out until the 25th.  So I had to get this.  To get free shipping you have to spend over, it think $25.  That when I remember I wanted to check out Batman and Son trade paperback.  This is the new version.  They should be here some time next week.  Have got a nice little growing  collection.

[Update] Ordered them on the 13th and the were in my hands on the 18th.  That was very fast shipping.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volumes

Once again taking about comic book publisher IDW’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles volumes.  So far there have ben six volumes of trade paperbacks.  With number seven on the way.  That it why I am talking about this again.  So looking forward to the next one.  Which is called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volume 7: City Fall Part 2.  It will be out soon.  Have read that will be February 18, 2014.  How ever Amazon.ca is saying the 25th.  Either way will be buying it.  While I was looking that that to see when it will be out.   Seen a link to the next volume which is called, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volume 8: Northampton.  Amazon is saying that will be out June 17, 2014.  Will have to keep my eye on that.  All so thinking about getting their Micro-Series volumes as well.  Over at the Wikipedia page for IDW’s Ninja Turtles page > here they have a nice list of the of the books that are out and with what order they are in.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volume 6: City Fall Part 1 Review

One of the Christmas gifts to myself was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volume 6: City Fall Part 1.  I fell in love with this new re-launch that IDW did of  Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles back in May.  After reading that one I went out and ordered the other four volumes.  Said to myself then the next one comes out I have to get it.  Then forgot all about it.  Then I was on Amazon.ca took a look at my wish list and there it was volume six.  So I had to get it.

Like the five books that came before it this one is just as awesome.  These get better and better with each one.  The story has Casey Jones getting caught by the Foot.  The Turtles set out to get him back.  Things go bad.  Don’t want to spoil anything but they go really bad.  Being part one you know it will end with a cliff-hanger.  So looking to Part Two. Which will be out in February 18, 2014.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volume 6: City Fall Part 1

Have some good news, well for me any way.  The next volume in the IDW’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trade paperback comic reboot will be out October 29, 2013.  It is titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volume 6: City Fall Part 1.  Have and read the first five volumes and loved reading them.  So I will be getting a copy for sure when it comes out.  If you have not heard about this reboot you need to check them out.  It is the Ninja Turtles you know and love but with a much better take on the origin story.  Every TMNT fan needs to check these out.
