Star Trek Into Darkness Review

So Star Trek Into Darkness is so much better than 2009’s Star Trek.  Enjoyed watching this one much better.  Like the first one it moved at a good pace.  The over use lens flairs has been cut back.  Which made me happy.  There is still some there but just a bit.  All the actors did a much better this time around.  It felt more like t they were a crew.  The story is much better this time around as well.  Mind you it still relies on the very tired movie tropes.  They use, there are seconds left on a count down timer, far to much.  How ever it is still a fun movie to watch.

This sequel is much better than the first.  Every thing about is better.  Think even non-fans would enjoy this.  Not a prefect movie but there is some very cool things in there.  If you are looking for something to rent this is a good choice.

Star Trek Review

I am kind of glad I missed seeing Star Trek in theatre.  “Why?,” you might ask.  Well it was ok.  Might get shot for saying it but it was an ok movie nothing special.  I know there is a lot of hype and it made lots of money.  How ever it didn’t blow me away.  It looked great and very ones role was awesome.  The thing that bugged me the most was the lens flairs in ever scene.  Drove me nuts.  The thing I liked the most was it moved at a prefect pace.  Didn’t get bogged down.

This is an ok movie nothing special.  I am sure if you are a Start Trek fan you have seen it.  How ever if you are not a fan or no clue about Star Trek this is a rent.

Star Trek: First Contract Review

Yep this is another $5.00 find. First Contract I have to say is probably the best Star Trek movie. I not the biggest Star Trek fan. I only liked the Next Generation TV show. This movie has it all, action, drama and comedy. The FX hold up pretty good for a 12 year old movie. My favourite part is when Commander Deanna Troi character played by Marina Sirtis is drunk. It is funny as hell. The DVD I got is the special collector’s edition. Which comes with a second disk full of all kinds of cool extras. If you are a Star Trek fan you have this movie so you know its great. For the rest of the world. This is an awesome Sci-Fi film, worth checking out.
