After The Storm

A few days ago I posted some pictures of the big snow storm we had here November 23/24 of 2011.  Well I all so took some video as well.  Using my GoPro HD Hero 960 sitting on top of my Lensse MidX camera stabilizer.  It still blows me away how the GoPro can turn out such a clear video and be so small.  When I am editing and footage from the GoPro it doesn’t look that good in the editing program.  That is because of compression and what not.  When I out put the final project it is shocking to see how good it looks.  Like some past videos I have uploaded it to Vimeo and YouTube.

Winter Through My Window

We had some snow fall the last few days.  So I was going to go out and around to get some video of the snow on the trees and what not.  Was all set to go.  But it started to snow again.  This time it was a real snow storm.  Came up with a new plan to just film out the windows.  Have to say it turned out pretty good.  The video is below.

Trail Run Two

At it again with an new trail run video.  All the snow was gone from last time.  So that left a lot more mud.  Took a few short clips, mashed them together.  I think it turn out interesting.  Take a look to see if you like it.

Trail Run

Yesterday (Nov21, 2010) my cousin took his Geo out for a spin in the mud and snow.  Took my video camera along.   Got a few short clips.  He past me his digital camera that shoots continuous shots.  That was going good until the shifter broke right off the Geo.  Only a little piece of the metal bar was stilling out.  That was the end of that run.  However I put the shots I took into a short but sweet video.

A few days ago we had our first real snow storm for this winter.  When I got home from work day (Dec 8, 2009) it was really nice out.  No wind and the sun was out.  The snow on the trees looked really nice.  So I had to take some pictures.  Here are some of them.

Snow Storm

Well I think we had the biggest snow storm around here this year (March 30-31, 2009) and it not even winter any more.  A few days ago it was around 7 or 10C and had my motorcycle out.  Now we are buried under snow again.  So much for spring.

Happy Snow Year

Happy Snow Year… what?   Happy New Year.  There was a big snow storm predicted for today.  Well it came true.  I think it is the biggest snow storm we had this year.  Ha.  You see what I did there.   One down side is we had to postpone our New Years dinner till tomorrow.  Oh well I have to wait one more day for all the good eats.
