SanDisk Cruzer Snap 64GB Flash Drive

Every year just around when it get stuff for back to school.  Walmart runs a promo of SanDisk USB flash drives.  This year is no different.  Like every years buy a few.  Another great thing about theses sales the capacity of the drives goes up.  Last years were 32GB.  This time they are 64GB going for $8.98.  This an amazing deal.  Thinking I am going to go buy a few more.

USB Thumb Stick Troubleshooting

A few posts back talk about there is a new version of AutoBleem out that I wanted to try.  Right now have the 0.6 (something) .  This new ones is 0.8(something).  It is pretty easy to update.  Just need to drag and drop the new files over to the USB stick and replace the files.   Didn’t really want to do this since I have other sticks.  The one I did try and use only showed it have 700 MBS free of 32GB.  But when I went to format it still read the same amount.  Then remember I used it to make a Linux boot drive with it.   So looked into a way to fix that.  There is a bunch of programs you can download. However there is an easier and faster way using Command Prompt.  Here is the tutorial I used > here.  Just scroll down until you see the Command Prompt how to part.  There are six simple commands to put in.  You don’t even have to type them.  Just copy and paste.  Just make sure are formatting the right disk or you can mess you computer up.

SanDisk Cruzer Spark 32GB Flash Drive

Last year (2018) Walmart had a crazy good deal on SanDisk 16GB USD drives.  Bought two of them for $5.88 each.  Since then I was kicking myself for not getting a few more.  Now that back to school sales are on the go.  Took a look at the Walmart flyer and seen they had SanDisk Cruzer Spark 32GB drives on for $6.88.  It is a even better sale than last year.  Double the storage for a dollar more.  This time wasn’t going to kick myself.  The first day of the sale went over and bought four.   They had two colours blue and red.  Choose all blue ones.

SanDisk 16GB Cruzer Glide USB Drive

Was in Walmart the other day.  They have started to roll out the back to school stuff.  Seen this big display full of USB drives.  Took a closer look and they were SanDisk 16GB Cruzer Glide flash drive.  Then seen the price of them, $5.88.  Wow, this is a crazy good deal.  As I am typing this (Aug 7, 2018) Amazon.ca is selling the same model for $10.83.  You can never have enough USB drives.  I ended up buying two.  Just might got back and get a few more.

microSD Card

Back in January (2015) bought myself Samsung Galaxy Tab 4.  The 8GB model thinking that should be fine.  Well find that filled up pretty fast back in May.  During free comic book day.  That was because Comixology.com gave way lots of digital comic books.  So every since then have been watching the flyers to seen if I could get a microSD card for a good price.  Seen lots of 16GB ones.  But wanted a 32GB one.  Found one the other night for about $30.  Am sure could have found a cheaper one.  But wanted a good one.  Bought the SanDisk Ultra Plus 32GB.  About try it in my tablet.  Will be back with an update.

[Update] It works great.  Am very impressed that it had 30 GB of useable space.  Most times you never to close to what the label on the box says.
