I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry Update

It has been a very long time since I have worked on any videos for I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry YouTube channel.  Mostly because I got burnt out trying to have a new video out every week.  While I did have a buffer (a few projects done ready to go) they ran out.  Then I kind of lost a bit of interest in recording my voice.  Having to do re-take after re-take.  Then to edit those files.  Thought about not doing voice overs.  However watching a video with text popping up on the screen, sucks.  Then came across the idea of using text to speech.  Watched this video > here and it’s is pretty simple to do with Windows 10 built in features,  One Note and Voice Recorder.   Have started a project using this setup.  Not sure when it will be done since that project involves 3D printing and painting.  If all works out ok.  Can see myself getting back into the YouTube game.

Redbubble T-Shirts

It was back in February 2019 that I put stuff on Redbubble for the  YouTube channel, I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry.  You can see that Shop > here.  Got thinking it is time to come up with some new designs.  Have had some idea for awhile now.  Just thinking about the best way to go about it.  Leaning towards making all the art with Vectors.  That is what the original logo is.  Was made in Inkscape.  Don’t really know how to use that program.  So got looking into other program, the web based Vectr.com.  This might meet my needs.

I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry Update

It has been a few weeks since there was been any new videos on the I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry YouTube channel.  Took some time away from it during the holidays.  Then had an operation.  So my plan is during the recovery time is to get back to making more.  My gaol is to a have back log of finished projects ready to go.  This gives me a buffer just in case I run out of time or something happens that I can work on new projects.  So keep you eyes out for new uploads soon.

Redbubble – I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry: T-Shirts

The t-shirts I made for the YouTube channel, I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry, came in the mail the other day.  Set up a Redbubble store.  Wanted to see what the shirts looked in in real life.  So ordered two, one of each design.  Took about week and a half to be made and shipped.  As for the t-shirts.  Must say they look pretty good.  The people I showed them to like the black one best.  If you are interested is get one for yourself or some one else you can do so > here.

 

Redbubble – I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry

Yep, talking about Redbubble.com again.  This is because I have a “store” up and running.  So far have two designs on there.  Which can be put on may different items.  But my main focus is on t-shirts.  Have a few more ideas in the works.  For now you can buy the official I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry merch by going > here.  Plan to buy one of each for myself just to see how it looks in real life.  Will be back when that happens with pictures.

Redbubble Account

Have now made a Redbubble.com account.  Which is pretty standard stuff.  Until you get the the part where how you would like to get paid.  Being in Canada there only one options that made sense.  Which is to get paid in Canadian money though Pay Pal.  Thought it would be hard to setup up.  But is pretty easy as well.

Uploaded a test picture of the logo for the YouTube channel, I’d Rather Watch Paint Dry.  Which again was pretty easy.  Then comes the time to choose which item you would like to sell with your art. That is when I discovered that the pictures wasn’t big enough.  So will have to redo the logo.  So bigger the picture the better then you can down scale on the website.  Redbubble gives the height and width for each item.  My many focus is on t-shirts which is 2400 x 3200.   When I get this all figured out will be back with an official link.
